For the pretended offended people here, I suggest you get more sex, it relaxes and broadens the vision. Your lack of humour and need for sex speaks for itself, Anyway, the silent majority speaks for itself...

Perhaps I was just lucky, but I met my future wife thanks to Scoobynet and a big helping hand from Ima.
Won't go into details, but wasn't "looking" at the time, but fate certainly had a HUGE hand in pushing us together and we just met up at Santa Pod and it just went on from there (thanks again to Ima for telling each of us that we "fancied" the other - thus ensuring that things progressed).
However, the thing that attracted me to Jen first was her personality. We corresponded by text for a few weeks before we met up "properly", where I then realised how drop dead gorgeous she looked as well (my first words were "Wow!" and my chin hit the floor - I kid you not!). I almost feel like I'm bragging when I talk about her, as I am over the moon at meeting someone so in touch with me as an individual - and she is SOOOOOOOOO intelligent (PhD) AND likes cars (although her taste is somewhat dubious as she has a Scooby UK300 - but then she can't be perfect can she?).
Just SOOOOO happy that we are together that I can't resist an opportunity of posting a picture...
So obviously my advice is to definitely mingle with like minded people, and you never know what might happen. If someone had told me that this year I would meet my future wife, I would have laughed at them and told them not to be so stupid. Had they said that I would meet them "through" the internet, I would have told them to "get a life" as well. However, now I even believe in fairies (hello Phil! )

I found my love on this BBS with some match making help from Phil, and after meeting Mike once more after Santa Pod I just knew he was the one for me and it was like I had been waiting for him for all my life. Likewise if you had told me previously that we would have 'spoken' to each other first on the internet I would have laughed and said get a life, but stranger things have happened
