40 quid of Optimax is about 200 or just over, not much m'way driving though - if I go on the m'way I get about 40 miles more......

Up to 350 Motorway - driving real easy though, off turbo.(done once)
normal commute - about 300 miles per tank mainly m-way/dcw.
last 2000 miles I averaged 25.8 mpg - mainly commuting, but some silly weekend fun too.
MY01 WRX, with zorst.
All on SUL

I think im winning this one
had car 8 weeks modded my99uk wagon and have never had the light come on till 330 miles, so in theory could get 360 miles from a tank.
Oh and yes i do drive like a granny 65-70 on m/way 60 on a roads etc.

he earlier cars with the TD05 like mine which spins up later are easier to get more MPG out of as you can keep the revs lower and use less fuel (boring drive compared to on boost mind)...

I average about 100miles to £20 and thats driving around town all week with the occasional right foot
MY94 WRX RA
Drove to Newquay last year doing about 70-80 all the way and forgot how many times I filled up and how much a pounding my Visa took!!!!!!
Cos of my gear ratio being a RA when on the motorway its revving like a good'un.

i used to get about 25 mpg but following the advice from a previous thread, i managed to make my after burner by taping 6 bic lighters to the end of my tail pipe.
With one pull, i can ignite all the unburnt fuel spoffing outta the back and now i get about 100 miles a gallon. Beats a DV!!
