Glad to see I’ve livened this thread up to an excellent hoot.
Chuckdog WHOA now you mention the hairloss being reverted, mine has too
I thought it was the implant surgery I recently undertook, but now I remember that I scratched my head straight after handling the Broquet. That must be it, a chemical reaction with my hair.
On a serious note, my wheels have grown to 18”, my Sti spoiler is so larger the car wheelies at 70mph, and my crap standard brakes work like race carbon fibre items.
But still NO fuel consumption improvement![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif)

Well Broquet was apparently fitted as standard in my car and I've found since I started driving it that male-pattern baldness which had afflicted me from an early age had reversed and I have since starred in many hairdressers magazines and sexual fantasies.

Astonishing stuff, this Broquet!
I was on the phone to a friend last night. He's only thought about fitting Broquet, but apparently this alone has made his MY99 smoother, and it now does 85mpg. The gearbox is now a 7-speed, and the clutch operation is smoother than a baby's backside.
He's also become a lot more attractive to members of the opposite sex, and has just been told that he's in line for a major promotion at work.
I was stunned - but then when I got on the bike this morning I found that just by talking to Dave the Broquet effect had worked on me. The bike seemed to be fuelled by avgas, 3rd gear wheelies were a cinch, and as I pulled into work I was met by Mick Doohan, who has now signed me to a 500GP deal with Honda. I thought the brolly dolly in our underground carpark wasn't entirely necessary but hey, who am I to complain!
Just think what the effects would be if I'd actually bought some!

Well I would have to say that since fitting the Broquet something amazing has happened to my
.
All the stonechips disappeared from the bonnet!
Or was that the guy yesterday who came and re-sprayed them all?
Maybe it's caused my human ECU to reset and forget previous settings!
On a serious note, I intend to work out my real findings this evening and post them later - good or bad.

Right, fact time.
I have now run Broquet for 1500 miles. Enough time to get some average figures. Forget about smoother engines and extra gear ratios
just facts.
I have even been lucky enough to do the same driving journeys during this period so no ridiculous motorway trips to mess it up. Both sides of Broquet my trips have been:
Winchester to Bracknell for work - M3, A33 and Backroads: 86 miles round trip
Winchester to Swansea - motorway - M3, A34, M4: 326 miles round trip
Winchester to Heathrow - M3, M25, M4 - 90 miles round trip
Mileage monitored before Broquet: 1768
Average MPG: 23.78
Mileage monitored with Broquet: 1532
Average MPG: 25.28
This = 6% improvement in fuel economy.
Over a year assuming SUL at 82p/l (I pay 81.5 but allow for increase).
15,000 per year (pretty close to what I do)
Pre-Broquet: 5.25 mpl (23.78 mpg)
15000/5.25 = 2857 litres SUL
2857*0.82 = £2342.74 cost
Broquet : 5.68 mpl (25.28 mpg)
15000/5.68 = 2640 litres SUL
2640*0.82 = £2164.8 cost
Saving with Broquet:
£2342.72-£2164.8 = £177.92
= a new Magnex centre after paging for
Broquet![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
I realise that this isn't exactly scientific, I also expect major flaming for this. For that reason I will be working from Denmark this week with three layers of F1 fireproof on
![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
These are REAL figures though. My driving style hasn't changed. I didn't buy the car for it's economy, I bought it for the FUN*SMILES*PERFORMANCE factors. Remember my Broquet was bought as 'a gift' and so I didn't have anything to prove here.
Hope this makes for a good weekend.
Looking forward to the fire.
Laurence
PS Now I can stop monitoring my bl**dy consumption please????

Thanks for the constructive response.
As far as I was concerned, I was able to test the product without the need to TRY and prove it worked since it wasn't my money that paid for it.
If the result had been negative I would have still posted it. Fact is, I am seeing an improvement, albeit small, and just want people to know.
