If you look at the dates on the threads you will realise he was paying that before damaging his car he only crashed his last week or so and made comments like that earlier in the year

From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
but I dont think we should take the pi$$ out of other peoples accidents... Somebody saying slow down tosser.. isnt really going to help when you dont know the situation...
FFS I drove into a parked car when I was 18.. maybe I should have slowed down..
Accidents are called accidents as they werent intended..
And out of all the cars Ive been in then I think I feel safer in his than some others, including some on here

Not aiming to take the michaelk out of turboteeth, not in my nature, honest!
However, i will correct you slightly David, there are NO accidents as such, Human error is usually involved!
In my case, perhaps i should not have overtaken, perhaps the driver of the other vehicle should not have pulled out.
In Turboteeths case, i dont know the history of what happened, it seems to have been edited, hence "No comment"
But i would put money on the fact that the is HUMAN error involved!

No-one is taking the **** out of anyones accidents just their comments. What he said was out of order and has now proved to him that accidents do happen (like you say and accident is an accident) You just don't need comments like that when you have nearly killed yourself or someone else. P20 SPD knew he was in the wrong and stated that at the time.

You know what I mean...
And I've seen the spot where he crashed... All I can say is you are lucky. Road is perfectly safe to overtake on... but trees dont move.

It's ok I get (got) where you are coming from. It is just the attitude of some on here (turboteeth in this case) that say things which they shouldn't say then it backfires on them I must say that I will view him in a different light on here after reading that comment on page 1 . At the end of the day we sit here on our computers and don't know the full facts so that doesn't give us the right to make comments of that nature . I view most people on here as friends and sympathised with the guy but now I don't.

My chin is tuff enough and my shoulders broad enough to stand up and have anyone say what they what about my incident (wont call it accident, now i know there are very few).
Just think people should think before they post, how they would feel if the boot was on the other foot!
Point has now been proven!

My point in a nutshell It can and does happen to anyone. Maybe people should learn instead of slating people without thinking about it first. All you did was put up a warning and did not ask for that

Thanks for all your comments. It just shows that you don't have to be driving really fast to end up like this - and believe me this was the best outcome - it could have been a lot worse.
It's fair to say my life will be very different without the Scooby - I loved that car and I just hope I can get another pretty soon.
Drive Carefully,
Turboteeth."
Humble pie turboteeth???

im sorry but it says he went round a blind corner and had to swerve to avoid a stationary horse... how can he have been driving at a safe speed if he couldnt physically stop in time and managed to roll the car on flat road 2. Speed is dependant on the conditions, whats a safe speed on an a road is definately not on a blind corner. If he wasnt speeding or going too fast for the corner i think the pretty **** hot subaru brakes wud have stopped him b4 he hit the horse or at least slowed him enough that the impact didnt flip the car. He must have still been going at some pelt when he went off.

From: Jaguar 3.0 sport now bought, Am loving it!!!!!
P20SPD,
Unlucky mate, glad that you were ok, this is the 4th Scoob I have seen rolled and I have to say I am mighty impressed with the way the cars hold up, I was on a day out with the boys quite a while back and my friend (who shall remain nameless) did a simular thing but not as fast, (but to fast if you know what I mean) He like you walked away with just a cut hand, and dented pride, but he also bought another Scoob, as I said glad you were OK,nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes.
Cheers
Colin

Hmmmmm Turboteeth is a star!?
BTW rolled my STi wagon too
Loved it so much, now with a much slower, classic turbo, for now.
£360pa insurance is cheap but I neeeed something faster.
So a new 2003 STi? Or what?

A year on, to the Monday morning, and i nearly saw it happen again, but to someone else.
Guy in Audi TT caught me up this morning quite quickly, i overtook a car, but he obviously wanted to do it it first, road was clear in front of me, and i nailed it, got well clear, and TBH left him standing.
This obviously annoid him, as when he caught me again, after i had slowed down, i was behind a long stream of traffic. So what does he do, overtake on a junction marked with chevrons (1 fatality there last month), swerve round avehicle that pulled out on our road as he was overtaking on another chevroned junction.
He then came to the bit where i had my accident, and what happened to me nearly happened to him
Luckily for him it did not, he was now about 10 cars in front of me, travelling at 45mph in 60mph limit.
Arrived at traffic lights after 2 miles, and i am sat at the side of him. Really gained alot there then
Any how, my life over the last year has changed dramatically, i view it with an entirely different approach, and just thought i would remind myself how lucky i am once again, in particular, that it was my youngest sons christening last weekend, who at the time of the incident, was 4 months away from being born. The smile on his face each day, reminds me how LUCKY i am to be able to see it.
Take it easy folks

Glad you got away with that one, and I understand how you feel, especially with the joy you get from your son.
Funny how Turboteeth never had the bottle to make any more comments after he was caught out by Paulpalmer. Best example of hypochrisy I have seen for a long time!

Well said Steven,
I wanted to put this thread to the top in December as on the 19th it was two years since I smashed mine.. but scoobynet was down and I never got back to do it..
My Daughter was 4months when I smashed mine..
I drive like a saint in comparison to I used to and I think it was the wake up call I required.. an expensive one..
I lost the back on snow this evening and the fear and rememberance of that night just floods back..
Becareful out there people!
