Guys.
Delivery landed in the UK yesterday. I spoke to the freight forwarders and they sad they would try and Express clear it through customs today and maybe even deliver it today as well, (but it could be Monday).
Sorry about the delays, but remember we only stepped in to help after the original group buy fell on its face due to supplier problems as I believe?
Anyway. Those on our list (if we can still find it after so long )will be notified and booked in as soon as we physically have our hands on the stuff.

Mike,
Thanks for the update mate. I appreciate all the hassle you've had sorting this out for us. Remember it's very difficult to get these gauges, and Mike had to invest £17 k to secure this order. I understand that people are a little pissed off waiting, but can you please honour the order that you made with them ?
I need mine posted to me, as my best mate is going to fit them for me. I will contact you later today to get a better understandinmg where we are, and will post later.
Once again, thanks Mike and Scoobymania for all their efforts, and hopefully we will all be very happy in a couple of days
Cheers Phill C

Just to add my tuppence eto the debacle.
Nearly went fo rthis group buy, but had a risky look to it after about two weeks.
If the guy from Scoobymania didn't think he could make a killing on his £17k "investment", he shouldn't have done it. The relationship he has with his suppliers would imply that he is last on the list to receive them anyway, as they would have invoiced him with 28 days, rather than ask for the money up front!

If you've cancelled your order, you're not a customer are you.
But seriously, we've got oil temp/oil press gauges Etc. if you need additional ones to match?
OK, Jase was organising it and left (not blaming Jase but we just can't find the supporting paperwork), there was a list but we've been unable to lay our hands on it which is why we've not contacted people.
Phil organised this and also had a list which (I hope) he can mail to us?
If we've not contacted anybody who placed an order prior to the group buy closing date, please mail me direct.
Mike.

The original group buy was not with Scooby Mania.
We "recovered" it after a let down with a different supplier. We didn't need to do it, our retail prices were already cheaper than the group buy discounted prices with that other supplier!
Our order went in but was frustrated by (amongst other things) changes to the product range by the suppliers and then them waiting for the new style products to be manufactured to fulfil the order.
Nothing at all to do with making a killing, we managed to satisfy the majority of the deal from stock. If you want to see how much you should be paying for these gauges, I'm sure somebody will point you towards the "official" UK Importer?

I have had nothing to do with this group buy.
I just thought unless someone has already done this but i think you (babber) deserve a pat on the back mate for something that as caused you nothing but grief.
Well done mate.

Well thanks everyone for the support I now have my gauges fitted and they look absolutely lovely and was well worth the wait
Found a lovely place to fit the EGT probe, where the two manifolds join into one. I can post some pictures if anyones interested
Cheers Phill C
PS Mike, I sort through my PC tomorrow and forward all the defi emails to the sale email address. Oh and Mike thanks for sorting it all out. I was quoted another £125 for the kit you supplied to me from another company

Mike, I specifically asked for someone to call and confirm that my deposit had been refunded (if it had been taken) and that I had been removed from the 'orders list'. I asked this as the girl I spoke to on the phone didnt seem to know anything about the group buy and didnt seem that confident about your processes.
No one called or mailed me. I dont know if i'm still a customer or not. I'm hoping 'not'.... Please email me off line of you wish to continue this discussion.
