Donington Day (Poor Stalls)

OK....ok....
I'm wrong.....
Apologies to all the people who didn't agree with my point of view, I could have put it in a differnet way now I come to think of it.
Hard week at work coupled with my wife having an affair with some bloke I don't know
We're not all bad up North everyone, just a little slower than most.

Think I'd have to agree with Pete and Chris (Mellow) on this.
Its an expensive business for all those that showed up to show their wares on Sunday...
Also, most of the good suppliers have at one time or another helped in the group-buys on this BBS, which has benefitted various individuals, myself included.
I s'pose they could have given away free pens though, and a sticker like most of the other big events ( joke )
By the sound of it, just be grateful you didn't go to the Jap Perf meet at the weekend, they got a tent + 2 burger vans and a garden furniture stool.
Pete - next year just get a page 3 girly along, that should keep 'em all quiet!
Alex
PS. forgot to say, and considering this is the first time they've done this, by all accounts it was nice day out...

In reply to PTHOLT believe us we 'ALL' tried the barganing approach only to find 2 people walked away and the rest were not interested.
Again to re-iterrate i wasnt the only person who made these comments about the stalls and the prices but i've taken the stand and actually said something, the other point is we agreed to vote with our feet and didnt buy from any of them.
Hence front spoiler now on the way from Wings West in the USA and its still cheaper even with shipping costs.
Isnt it strange the pr*ck calling himself roughneck doesnt have an e-mail address.

I think everything has been said now. Mike & Pete have offered a perspective from the traders end and it sounds like we need to agree to disagree.
Chris.
