I just got home from the ring again. No doubt i'll do a full report when i get time. It was packed with bikers and cars, very very hot.

The first thing that happened this trip on saturday morning, literally the first thing after getting up was to have a call from my friend as he was stood next to yet another fataly injured biker, he was one of the first to the scene.

There were a lot of closures this weekend, lots of multiple vehicle acidents, one incident had 5 bikes down after an oil spill. I wish the message would get accross how dangerous for bikes this place is, (and how incompatible cars and bikes are) but an hour after the fatal crash it was back to normal as if nothing had happened....

I paid my respects to Jorund in a way he would have apreciated.

...first time online since I heard of Jo's death from Felly over a week ago... Im still a bit numb to be honest and then to hear of JR having to attend to a fatally injured guy this weekend just gone kinda takes the biscuit. 'bout time the authorities realised what they need to do to avoid more accidents...

I met Jorund 2 or 3 times and exchanged e-mail banter following on from ringers list stuff...he was always jovial and humourous and will be sorely missed..

Rest in Peace J
