John Felstead, before slagging off my article, why don't you try reading it?!?!?!? I admit Redline is aimed at a much younger and more 'different' audience BUT Please read it. I tried to get across both the fun side of the Ring, whilst emphasizing the danger and seriousness of this awesome place. I did not 'sensationalise' the fatalities and did mention how the ring can bite. Yes there is humour in the article but remember I was writing this for Redline not Evo...
I can't believe you are judging something and criticsing it without even seeing it...
Also I am the first to admit that driver skill and ring experience are paramount at the ring. I was also surprised just how well the scoobs went at the ring, Gossy was very very quick all weekend, as was stef obviously and with just 115 bhp your scoob was superb mainly due to some excellent driving, BUT please stop going on about this last lap!!! I've read your account before and said nothing but to put the record straight, the two Reyland cars and the Sierra in particular were NOT TRYING!!! we went out to get some photos of the two cars for the magazine for gods sake!! ask Gossy!!!!
If you don't want to buy this 'crap' try your local Library (WHsmith)
P.s I didn't write the captions and realise that there is no such thing as a RWD TT
P.P.S constructive criticism gratefully accepted, as are apologies
