You'll see me occasionally round Edinburgh - the folks and the in-laws live there. Mine's a Silver 5 door STi2 - see my homepage - www.motorsportworld.co.uk (shameless plug!). Maybe someone will wave one day....
Colin
ps tried waving in France too during my hols the last 2 weeks (saw about 6) but they weren't into this waving thing at all

KM,
Nice car.
Dunno about NewAge boys, maybe they're just not in "the know"
Got waves from a dark blue 'un last night, but none from a silver, in fact, the guy looked at me with one of those "why the **** do I keep getting waved at by other Subaru drivers ?!!!"
I dunno, uneducated bunch, hehehe

GM, Me and the Saxo used to live just along the road at C'House Gardens and I passed you quite a lot. Those were in the days before I discovered scoobynet, you've got a nice looking car there mate

SiPie,
Twas me so it was
Aye, passing down Colinton Road with the bloody roadworks.
Were you the dark mica Scoob ? Seen the wave and gave one back from the dashboard but not sure if you saw it because of the wire fencing.
I was off to Shell for a quick fix of Optimax.
First time I've taken her out in a week since I've seriously fecked my back (old war wound blah blah blah)

It's alright for you two passing them occassionally (daily, in sipie's case)...I live in Buckstone and those buggers are going to be there for something stupid like 40 weeks Also, they just re-tarmaced my street even though it didn't need it and now I have tar all over the car Spending cash on a good quality 30mph road and not on dangerous 60mph roads with loads of pot-holes....seems like a good use of council tax money to me
Opps, sort of slipped into rant mode there

Tell me about it.
I'm fed up with them being dug up for no apparent reason and then being shoddily patched up, only to be ripped up again 3 months later.
Not only that, but leaving whopping great chips all over the place for other cars to pick up and throw at my beloved. Grrrr....
[/end rant]
Nice car btw.
I'm sure I've seen you a few times, but without my Scoob, don't want to wave from the pavement
Heading that way tonight to pick up the wife and then some shopping (Zzzzzz.....)

Since the immediate proximity of Scoobs, would be very easy to organise a very local meet. Espesh if Saxo is thinking of booting it up North to visit a Mr Banks for an ECU upgrade
I'm sure I could follow you along for that trip or the other way about

Got the wrong end of the stick Devil. I'll not be seeing John for a while yet as I go on holiday soon and then need to get my decat bits. I'd be up for a local mini-meet though. Your car looks soooo good and I'm so jelous of the fact you have centre pod gauges

OK..OK.....Before you all get carried away... Wait for me..!!!!
Can we leave it till you get back Kenny as colour coding is getting done tomorrow so won't really be around?
Local meet would be superb though..

No problem Sipie but if Dev and I get TEC3 you'll be saying 'wait for me' more often. Jump on the bandwagen, the extra MPG will pay for itself.....in about 4 million miles

Kosy,
More than welcome
Nice car.
I used to own the 4x4 version of the RS2000.
How do you find it though?
I was bored stiff with it after a month
It let me down as I was expecting a lot more from it.
Gone are the Blue Oval days for me now.
Best two cars I've ever owned were a MKII Golf GTI and my Scoob
Saxo/SiPie,
Going to meet JB for the Tek3 this weekend (Sunday) and possibly off to Falkland Performance Saturday for a 30k service
Going to be a tough month for the bills!!!
Not sure if I could make a meet then, although Sunday afternoon after I finish with John could be a go-er, but if you're out of town or busy, three weeks is cool for me too.
Any day though for a mini-meet would be perfect, after 7 probably best since we all work I guess during the week.
(soz for the late reply, I don't access during the weekend since I've not set up my PC since moving house!)
