Your one of these "ifs" people arent you Jza??????

If i did this or if i did that then i would do the other.

Me, i go out and have a go mate, i dont sit on my **** and dream.

Show me a bike on a decent twisty road and i will show it my ****. LOL

I doubt you will find a cheeper way of doing 0-60 in 3 seconds, driving with the wind in your hair (when the glue works steve ), kicking the **** out of cars that cost 10 times as much, give the most thrilling ride of their lives to many a person on track, grin as you hit 150MPH and eat GT3's and Superbikes round the nurburgring and then when youve had enough thrills for the day cruise home in your leather seats, softened up ride without some old granny pulling out on you and spilling your brains all over the road.

I love Bikes, i grew up on Trials bikes, I used to train kids how to ride those things but i also know i would die on the road on a quick bike so i avoid them.

Driving a car like mine on the limits is a huge amount of fun, the corner speeds can be amazing, much higher than a bike can achieve. Any muppet can sit on a quick bike on a straight and open the throttle, Not many can do it through the corners though, which is where the real thrill and skill is.

john,

"I doubt you will find a cheeper way of doing 0-60 in 3 seconds" - My R1 was cheaper than your kit car!

"driving with the wind in your hair" - i saw 170mph indicated on the straight at spa so you can sod that sort of wind, fair enough when your trundling around the countryside it might be appealing.

"give the most thrilling ride of their lives to many a person on track" - sod 'em, they can buy their own toys!

"150MPH" - sorry, is that supposed to be quick in he kit world?

"eat GT3's and Superbikes" - for breakfast!

"cruise home in your leather seats, softened up ride" - er..no, never done that- might when i'm older.

"spilling your brains all over the road" - no comment- your only validish point!.

Tiggs

all fun!!

Tiggs, learn the English language mate. What it means when you have a sentance (thats a group of words together ending with a full stop. <<< one of those things) Is that all the points of discusion within the sentance are interlinked and should not be taken in a singular context. LOL

My car is geared to do 155MPH ( i couldnt be arsed adding the extra 5 before, but what the hell ) and it does hit 155MPH no probs at all. There is no point gearing it higher than that as i would never use more on any track i visit. With different tyres it does 175MPH (ask rsquire what that feels like in a westie, uphill i must add. ) What happened to that Porsche Turbo Richard?? LOL

Unlike a lot of the bull**** merchants out there i set my toys up for the task in hand, i dont give a stuff about bull****, unusable figures. (so why did i mention 175MPH??? LOL)

John,
fair point about the English, to be honest i just took a load of mish mash and threw it together in the hope it made some kind of sense. i gave little thought to the appearence of what i was creating, i just hoped that you would get the jist.

bit of a gramatical kit car!!!!!!

tiggs

ps- 170mph at spa was usable- by me- i was sat on it at the time oddly enough!

what? sit on it?

if you mean the speed- no, i slowed down!

but- the feeling of leaning a bike over to corner is like nothing you'll get in a car. the body moves not just forward but down, closer to the ground. as you know from driving a bathtub the lower to the ground you are the faster it feels- well draging bits of yourself on the deck with your face 2 feet from the floor only enhances this feeling.

watch kids in a playground running round playing planes- banking left and right but never leaving the ground- that feeling is only replicated on a bike and its as good at 28 as it was at 6 in the playground.

tiggs

ps- i dont hang round playgrounds by the way!

ps- im going to build a westie next year so please accept the bath thing as a joke!!

Guys, I drive a 300bhp scooby. On sunday my cousin took me out on his Honda 'blade, basically it was a case of new pants please! Not only because he scared the cr@p out of me but the excitment nearly got to much!

Respect for those guys who are skilled enough to go fast on a bike and remember, a scooby makes a OK driver look good!

This whole threads a Joke isn't it?

I bet my *** is lower to the ground than yours, bet you cant touch the ground with your wrist when sat on your bike, i can sat in the westie.

I also grind my exhaust on the ground when cornering real hard, i had to raise the whole car 1" just to stop the chasis hitting the ground through the karousel, thats how low my car is mate.

who calls it a crash hat? More importantly, who is riding a motorbike with a musical instrument for protection?

I just call it my helmet

Is the musical instrument not a 'high hat' ?

there are various cymbals which use the term hat. Hi hat and crash hat are two of these I believe. You can correct me if I am wrong, but I will argue to the death anyway.

I call my head protection my lid or my skid lid. Manufacturers call them motorcycle helmets. I usually keep my helmet tucked away safely behind the petrol tank

I own a bike and a car and prefer my car without any shadow of a doubt. I pulled up at the lights on my bike the other day when a nissan sunny pulled up next to me at the lights. I looked at him and he looked at me and we both knew what was to follow. The lights went from red to amber and the nissan was revving his engine in anticipation. The lghts turned green and the nissan flew off the mark leaving me for dust and no matter how hard I pedalled I just couldn't catch him.

I find it is best to keep my helmet covered and out of sight, unless it is in use of course

You are probably correct about the cymbals, what do I know.

Yes John,

IF you had a sense of humour you'd have laughed at my comments as they were intended as "joking" !!!!!!

I always enjoy reading your threads about your car and travels.

As you've got the mardies i'll point out that you always post telling everyone how great your car is compared to .... well, just about anything really. Its like nothing else really compares does it? And now you'd show every sportbike your ****....

Suprised Formula 1 havent jumped at the chance of having you as a driver as well (and your car!!), judging by your imense (and self proclaimed) talents at ripping up the opposition. Nova's, scoobies, Cossies, Sportsbikes, you've had 'em all!!!!

I'd still leave you for toast on my suped up Hayabusa mate (IF i had one ) - does your brick reach 200mph+?

But getting my WRIST down - that would be something to write about

LOL @ John!!!

Damn, who's lost there sense of humour?????

As to my talents and those of my car, my comments are in jest although i would kick most peoples asses.

If truth be told, i couldnt give a stuff whether i am faster or slower on a track day or road, i am just out having fun.

Stick me in a competitive situation like a rally though and i'll do my dambdest to kick everyones ***, thats the point of it, isnt it.
