No prob Neil. Thanks.
Peter. Thanks for info. I do not want anybody buying the kit and running into unexpected problems. I can split the FMIC from the cold air kit if required.
Top Cat: We demand an answer!!! Cheers.

Was thinking of a Pace FMIC from Amber Performance £810 inc VAT and delivery. And an induction kit. Won't have to cut the bumper. Just how much has to be cut off to fit the APS - can it be cut on the car or does the bumper need to be removed? After you remove the FMIC and return to standard is it obvious the bumper has been butchered? I may be interested...

The 97-00 FMIC is now sold at the asking price.
The M/Y 01 is for sale at £1275.
I think the 94M/Y can be fitted with the APS FMIC but it may require some adaption. On my 00M/Y a fair bit had to come off the bumper and once off I think the FMIC is on the car for life, short of a replacement bumper.
I believe the APS is far superior to the Pace for a number of reasons but you could ask Alan G for an independant opinion.
The kit for sale includes APS cold air kit and delivery in the UK.

Looked into it a bit more and it seems that the APS is a good choice over Pace. I am very interested if you have a MY00 kit without the cold air kit still available - wasn't sure how many you had total. What price for this?

Sorry John. Only have the M/Y 01 for sale now. The 97-00 was £1000 for FMIC + £200 cold air kit.

The fmic will fit the earlier cars, but if you want the cold air kit as well this will require some machining to fit the earlier car if the cold air is for my99.

Topcat had a my99 cold air kit fitted to his my97/98 car and it required some machining to get it to fit properly. Best to ask him exactly what had to be done.

p.s. Jamie, talk to me about intercooler pipes, any feedback from Topcats photos? (please feel free to email me off list).

I was just adivdsing that if the chap with the older car purchased the fmic, he may also find he may have to get the cold air kit, as the routing of the APS fmic may infringe on his current induction kit or rub against the silicone fmic pipes and we wouldnt want that

If he did decide to take the cold air kit as well, it is possible to get it to fit, you just have to get it machined to fit as topcat did. Or purchase one to fir his specific model year as jamie seems to have that base covered.

Just being helpful

You have mail back young mr whitfield .
