In memory of my brother Nick, who died this weekend aged 22

Very sad, I must say the way you are taking this is incredible and what you are doing in his memory should be commended.
Words fail very much at these times (or do they ?) but the fact that Burr can post on here is a testimony of how important Nick's life has been already to strangers, let alone the people that were close to him...
So however tragic 22 years old sounds (and is)... some people *never* get to do the things he did. Respect.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your family.
This is a truly FANTASTIC community here on scoobynet. Having attended a funeral of another scoobynetter a few years the turn out was awesome...the church was overflowing with scoobynetters.
If the community can respond to this thread in the way that it has done so far, I am sure there will be another huge turnout of revving boxer engines at his funeral.
I am scoobyless but I will try to make the funeral. I am sure that have thought of printing off this thread so that your brother can take it with to his finally resting place.
Again my condolences. God bless.

Rich,
I have spent all day thinking about Nick and about what to write to you and your family, I lost a very close friend to a brain haemorrhage on Christmas day 1983 when I was only 16, today I felt the same cold shock that I felt all those years ago. Hardly a day passes without me thinking of Louise who was the happiest person I have ever known, those memories will now also be of Nick.
Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

My condolences to you and your family. Although i haven't spoken to you or your brother, i've read the postings over the past months and prior to that when i was a scooby lurker. I think the number of replies here shows how well liked he was (even by people who had never met him) and how strong the scoobynet community is.
Will do the appropriate thing with my scoob at the allotted time...
Sad loss...

my condolances to you and your family
I'm sure you will all take heart with the overwhelming support shown by fellow scoobynetters, and i sincerely hope it helps in some way to lessen the pain.
I too would be honoured to attend Nicks funeral in the RB5
This is a family after all
