Thumbs up

Hello all ! Blooming excellent day. Great to see everyone again and good to get a few beers in with Tom and John the night before. Good to see Dream Weaver, Scott and Nito again and meet R19KET, Pat, Plantie, Tim etc etc.

Got back home quite early and promptly fell asleep - damn tiring driving the Westie - decided to take it out for the day and we improvised with Tom's umbrellas as wet weather gear when it lashed down!

Washed the Westie after waking up and then buggered my back!! So, have been in bed all day in agony - now on the couch , still in agony. Not all looking bad though as my wonderful secretary, Jules is popping in with the Ibuleve gel and food supplies

john, bad luck re back ache.

I had the same back ache from last wednesday leaning over R19KETs car trying to get a solid chunk of wires the diamter of my fist through a grommet the size of penny.

Story of my life

format makes more sense now. what did they use for measuring and timing gear? was it certified accurate?

david? where exactly are you moving to?

Adam, I don't know what they used for timing gear other than it was light beam based ie you had to break the beam at the start and finish. I beleive that any times taken were eligable for use in the Guiness book of Records though

Hi there,

I have taken this picture yesterday and post it on my web site because a friend of mine has the same car as yours, and during weeks last year, he told me "i will kick your *ss when we will do a 1/4 mile drag strip" (i've got an evo 6 TME) and when the day came, i've kicked his *ss

So this picture is for him :-)

Please see no offence at all to your nice car!

Puff,

you will be most welcome - there is loads of space and parking for twenty cars (will probably regret saying that!)

Also plenty of room, including three stables Truda says bring your own straw!!

Adam,

moving to York - put an offer in on a farm!
