John, curious about the furys time, would have expected it to be very quick on a tight course, you having driven both westys and now scoobys, how come it was not so quick? (relatvie to other cars)
Any comments?

That track was perfect for the fury to destroy any saloon car, i was surprised about that myself. I need to see the other times to work out how quickly most saloon cars were going. I know i couldnt have gone any quicker myself in my car, that was definately the limit with my tyres and suspension. Saying that, with an active centre diff i recon i could have found half a second to a second.
If i were in the westie, i would have been much much faster than anything saloon based, it was an ideal layout for that car.

as stated previously, possibly driver related (no disrespect) to the fury driver, im the first to admit im not the fastest driver in the world, and simply from carting know how much the driver has to input to the lap times, some times the difference can be large.
Can anyone remember how it did on the 500m tests? was it competitive?
