I seem to remember the Jackass thing was a Cannonball Run, which is happening again this year starting October 6th, check out:

This year they are doing France - Italy - Switzerland - Austria - UK - Liechtenstein - Germany - Belgium.

Last entries by end August. 150 cars or so (80 already entered I understand including 6 scoobies). Party each night for a week!
