If purchased you are getting :-

1 x my99 link ecu with 10 row 'q' chip
1 x Knock link
1 x Lamda link
1 x 3 port boost solenoid

basically the ecu replaces your std part and allows the mapper to configure air/fuel + boost and advance parameters to increase power + driveability across the rev range.

The knock link and lambda link are just to monitor your car.

The 3 port solenoid to quote an email from Bob Rawle (link ecu mapper) is 'to get the best out of the car'.

Hi Gaz,

remember the chat we had a while back. This is the one to go for

Get it, get Bob to fit it and map it, drive it around and see what you think and probably return to Bob for any alterations you require then return to Wales grinning from ear to ear

Red face

Surprised it's not sold yet!

Look at the prices on the BRD site as it would cost over £1400 to have this kit new! The £1430 is the same hardware (ECU, KnockLink, LamdaLink and 3 port solenoid) and the mapping cost.

If you bought this kit off for £650 and got BRD to map it, you would save yourself £500!!!

Pete

What can I swop you? Boost guage?

Anyone for a PPP ECU?

Got no spare cash or I'd rip your arm off...

(though little boxes dotted around might be noticed by the wife )

you dont have to keep knock and lambda plugged in puff, just unplug them after youve been mapped.

kinda misses the point but it worked for me for a while

Puff,

Just tell your wife that they are there to monitor the engine as you have heard of a few cars letting go!

That's not actually lying as they do monitor the engine!

Hi Bryan,

unfortunately it won't fit in your car, you need an older version of link for yours.

Feel free to mail me any questions on link though, after having one so long i'm fairly confident i can answer most questions on it

Cool

I would if I had your phone number

I am just so cr@p at taking phone numbers out of emails & sticking them somewhere I won't lose them

If you ring 07818 413 513 with a number that will display, I'll ring you back on a landline - dodgy mobile reception where I live
