factor in MPG worse than a Scoob, a diet of SUL only, 4500 mile service intervals and you see that there is more to practical than just the number of doors and a boot.
4500 mile service is AYC FLUID ONLY this can be done by yourself in less than 20 mins.
Petrol... well what can I say? I only ever put SUL in my impreza so no change there and I never did buy a performance car for it's petrol consumption. WGAF at the end of the day?

Crytpwalk, I said: I do prefer the P1 or 22B though, over the EvoVi and Vii Can't afford the vehicle or the insurance for that level of car just yet.

Have you drove all 3? All are totally different IMHO
Have driven the P1 and EvoVi (not the Vii or 22b). Much prefered the P1 as a car to drive on the road.

Christ Cryptwalk - no need to go so defensive. These were some of the reasons NOT all the reasons. This is what gets people's backs up ![Frown](images/smilies/frown.gif)
Also, in my circumstances, when I came to buy my (second) Scoob, I also took into account that 1) my previous Scoob had been utterly reliable for 40K+ miles 2) Dealers were great - good service and advice 3) much bigger choice of vehicles to choose from 4) lower cost 5) cheaper insurance 6) cheaper running costs.
Performance wise, yes an Evo in most circumstances is the better car - but ultimately, whether I could use the extra 50bhp on a regular basis was questionable. So the Scoob fitted MY requirements.
Other people may have different circumstances, but I couldn't justify it.

"Whatever your preference, Subaru or Evo. Lets just love each other!!! "
Im assuming you are of the femail gender Liz so - No Problem, your place or mine?
After reading the thread my thoughts are "Horses for courses"...
Take a look at http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=123548 - I also had to choose between a Mitsi and a Scoob - in the end, the Scoob was more practical for me to live with.
Mak.
