Plain and simply Bugger it. £100+ for a new one??????? K&N aren't completely safe, but do seem to be safer than most!

I could be completly wrong but I'm sure if the induction kits are really oily or not secure then they will bugger the MAF.
Then you whip it off put the old air box back on and if you still have warranty left, call the dealer and say there seems to be a problem with the car and play dumb

I'll 'play safe' as you suggest and just go with the ITG Panel (for now).
Along with the forge dump valve, scoobysport downpipes (leaving the centre section standard with cat, to pass my emissions tests, cos I'm a good boy really).
If I need more I'll look at the K&N induction kit then after the above.

Would it be worth getting a tek2 remap at this stage? (i.e. after the above).

That sti vi front lip spoiler looks nice too...

DBT - sorry, i'm getting my Dark Blues mixed up - its Dark Blue Mark who had his UK measured at 260 with an exhaust and induction. Maybe he'll be in this thread soon..!

no problemo. Wondered what you were talking about for a while!

Not too worried about the power for now (still getting used to the step up from the Sport). The dump valve and downpipes is for the sound.

Thanks Brun for the note, have you got an ECUTEK, does it make much difference sorry to bother you and saying about the K&N I've cleaned and oiled it twice now had no problems yet,but don't put too much oil on oops! I've heard that dump valves mucks up the mapping is this true or false also bigger inter cooler good or bad .
