Hey Duczz, you like an arguement as much as I do !
There is a dyno graph posted on earlier pages of this thread
ps - All without a dump valve too

Andy,
yeah - my fourth is shorter than a standard UK - but way longer than an RA or Type R - as I say - PE struggle to run the big power Rs and RAs in 4th - they don't use glue on the rollers to sneak in big ATW figures in 4th.
Be interested to see what your graph would say in 5th - maybe 260-280 - still getting your 367bhp top line figure.
Duczz,
the weather in Scotland is very harsh and the horses are correspondingly much smaller
Whereas in the south of England we only have old English Shires - much slower - but really big

Andy, not trying to be argumentive, just 305 Hp ATW is pretty seroius power, also what gear was this achieved in? and was it a rolling road? Your RA should have forged internals and 440 cc yellow injectors so that would make the figure a bit more easy to believe, but its still alot of power. Ive seen countless dyno graphs and they can be misleading. As an example I know of one WRX running a BPM 2.2 stroker kit and VF22 which has only achieved around 200KW atw admittedly the VF22 isnt a big hp turbo.

From the files........
a Std 99 UK will make 132 ATW at star
an EVO7 running decat/HKS and 1.35 bar 237 ATW
For what it's worth .........
I've no idea the internals but it just has grey 380's
At least we agree about the last bit !!

duczz,
Andy's is just a WRX RA, not an sti. The internals are standard WRX ones. 440cc injectors weren't introduced until the 97 model Sti.
sickening isn't it.

We all know how dubious the US are with their power claims - they seem to be even worse than the Scots!... close though...
Most of them dont like the lowly litred cars - If it isnt a 700litre with 2million inches of cubic capacity they tend to lose interest
Anyhow in the States the std 'best' fuel is awful - contains loads of harmful Sulphur (varies by State) and in the summer its so hot I'd have to turn the ignition advance and boost way down....

One thing to be aware of with states fuel ratings .... they use a different figure. They use RON + MON / 2 where we just use the RON number.
Optimax is 98 RON and (I believe) 88 MON making it the same rating as USA 93 Octane !
ps I was only joking about you doing it over there Just come to Scotland, it apparently reads at least 50 bhp high

SUL is 89 MON I think.
I think even 95RON UL is/was 89MON, which is odd.
probably changed since I last checked. I have the specs in the RAC MSA rulebook somewhere.

Yes I'm well aware of the different specs
Interesting on the MON - as the racing fuel over here (USA) is rated at 116 RON (76 RACINGS Fuels) and costs aboout $4.50 a gallon (US Gallon = 80% the size of ours (6.4 UK pints))
There are some very, very knowledgable people over here.....
I was at an event the other day with quarter mile times on basic looking cars - getting sub 10 second quarter miles...... easily...

hmm, 116RON racing fuel that's the same price as our 95RON pump fuel.
makes me proud to be British, knowing we have the capability to rip of so many people, and they are thankful for it.
