Who really gives a monkeys about 1/4 mile times, cross country times are far more relevent a good time at say the Nurburg Ring gives a better idea of -
1 Driver ability
2 Car Performance
Heavily modified cars are interesting in their own right but hardly significant in the real world.
I just wish my STi 7 had a bit less lag / more poke lower down the rev range.

my scoob is completely standard except for 17" wheels and some bigger front brakes, it has the stock 32K mile suspension, stock engine, stock gearbox etc. I can pretty much say my car was the least modified car at the event

Another simple question turns out to be a, my cars faster than yours slog.
Evo Bad Boy :- Not sure on this one, could it be EVO 123456 MAK 7 that's the fastest.
Co55ie :- Tough one this but I'd have to say COSWORTH what ever type.
Evo V :- Guess what Evo V.
And if your a Scoob driver then the scoob would win all day long.
Who really gives a Flat Four who wins, it total cr*p.
You could teach a monkey to drive in a straight line.
We all know who is going to win.
It's the boy racer with his baseball cap back to front and base box thumping with those bloody fog lights blinding everyone who could'nt give a sh1te about his cossie/evo/scoob/astra/saxo etc who would win.
No monkeys were harmed in the making of this production, more than I can say for the cars though.

Click on the link above. Iit will take you to my imagestation, then look for the Twin Engined Golf MPeg clip.
This is a twin engined mk3 golf 2 vr6 motors and 2 turbochargers, 2 gearboxes, and very very fast, it messed up the start as you can see but it still recorded a 12sec 1/4 mile @176mph, I recon with a good start it will do an 8sec 1/4 mile. this was taken at bruntingthorpe airfield, the image station is full of my pictures of the VW events we go to, mine is the Platingum gray 3rd and best.

To answer your question wacky Banana. The car has only done 1200 miles or so was hoping to have completed somemore but car needs a new wheel bearing so havent been able to put the miles on it as the wrong part came through. Still at least its only a 28 quid bill this time. If you are still interested as soon as the car is dyno'd I will post the graphs. I may have the car set up personally by Ahmed Bayjoo from the groove garage when it has loosened up.
I do not think my car is the best in the world I find it amusing that such a shed has got so much performance capability and in my opinion never quite understand what ford were on when they conceived the 4 by 4 saff.
