Tattoos
#63
Well i'd fancied a tattoo for years, never had the bottle to go through with it - partially thanks to other non tattoo'd people telling you horror stories and seeing the odd prison/drunken abortion of a tattoo and also finding an artist i trusted to do the work.
A rather grim incident last September (2 days after september 11)meant that Spudgun and i got to know each other and after seeing his work i badgered him into doing one for me.
It didn't hurt at all (though he did give me an example of why it could do when in a hurry, or depending on the artists 'style') it looks great imo (who gives a monkies what others think i like it!) BUT it is addictive and i seriously fancy another one now, ooo spuddy petey needs tattoing
My wife was dead annoyed when i got mine as she wanted one as well, so spud er did her a few months later so to speak. Though hers will now need updating soon as other events have rendered hers sort of out of date hehehehe.

Scooby Regular
Just read a few comments - all I will say is my grandad made me promise NEVER to EVER get a Tattoo - he was in the navy and had an arm full - he hated every one of them!!!! I have stuck to the promise and I have never regretted it. Looking at the braindead idividuals who think its 'kool'!!
As for women having tattoos, well what can I say? what the hell is that going to look like when you are older and have children? How the hell are you going to explain away that you were following the crowd like a sad little sheep?? and now its all out of fashion??
Nah, sorry, tattoos are for those struggling with one brain cell
All IMHO of course!

More *** please Sexy
I've got the Tekken symbol on me right arm.
Has a "novelty" factor when you first get it (ie, can't resist the chance to look at it or show it off) but after a while, just becomes natural and part of you (which I guess it is)
Don't regret it at all.
Suffice to say, I wouldn't be gettin' no spiders webs on my neck

Aye, it looked better on the wall than on my **** so to speak
But, if I hadn't got that one done, then I wouldn't have had the dolphin one done.........I still like them both though
I don't see them that often anyway

Getting a tatoo is a personal thing, if your worried what other people think then you dont really want one. Ive got 2 and Iam getting another one next week.
Everyone has thier own opinions about them, but at the end of the day its your body your marking so give it thought. People are right about looking ****e in 20 years but I couldnt care less to be honest, silly attitude? - yes, probably but whos to say I will be here in 20 years!
Its a very personal thing, its a decision you should make.
