I kind of agree with Luke......
The white lines don't actually seem to be "moving" as fast as you'd expect at that speed - and at 100ish mph they look positively slow....
Also, 536hp on a Bike - that smells a bit fishy - firstly, how is it possible to have full power put down without wheelie bars? even at 200mph it'd pull wheelies........
Looks more like it's one of the 360ish hp conversions - they accelerate like that and will pull 240mph - think one's been timed already at 249 in the UK.......but 536hp - hmmmmmm. I can smell some good ol' USA BS

I think its crap. I hit 145mph this morning and trust me the scenery and white lines were going past far faster than that!!! Also, on one of the early gear changes if you look at the rev counter there is a good 0.5-1 second pause before he accelerates again yet the speedo continues to increase at the same rate without so much as a pause.

This has been flying around at other forums and the general consensus is that it is a fake. Apparently the theory is it's quite easy to fake speedo calibration on bikes. Most bikers who have seen this have said the scenary, white lines and junctions etc are going far too slowly for 200+mph

And yeah, it's fake, it doesnt go fast, not like 200 mph anyway, just look at the lines. Also agree about the gearchange. It's bull. Next, please

There certainly are bikes around that do this - 0-200mph in six or seven seconds - but they are drag bikes, with wheelie bars etc.
Video looks very fake, as suggested, speedo has been geared up to read excessively high, at 200mph the scenery would look a lot different!
Video *can* look slow - due to the short shutter time and gaps between frames, the white lines don't blur like they seem to in real life; I have seen in car footage from LeMans racers at around 240-250mph, the white lines still have distinct "dashes" but they rush towards you, then start to slow up - then seem to stand still, and eventually appear to go backwards!

Errr...I did once.
It was along Dottinger Hohe (the final straight on the Nurburgring) and I was playing the top-speed game when I realised I only had what seemed like a few hundred yards to go before the pit entrance. Doh.
I had an indicated 160 in 5th (one gear left then) - sitting up at that speed tends to scrub a lot of speed off Bit windy, mind.

I have no doubt that a Hyabusa could possibly be modded to do that kind of speed. I just don't think this guy is doing it. I haven't been on a bike at that speed but I have been in several cars that have travelled well into 3 figures and seen lots of in-car videos. The sceneray changes a lot quicker than that.
