Cool

ROTFL

What a great meet, didn't get to see everyone though - at least I turned up.............fashionably late aswell

Good effort put in by the Skodas, with the stray scoob in the middle
Thanks for putting up with my navigation Tavia, though I think I may have lost my title for worst navigator I only missed two instructions, that's appalling for me - my reputation is in tatters

I know how much effort was put into it and top marks to Chris, Matt and Amanda (Matt your pace notes are unreadable though )

Hope to see you all on the Staffordshire Treasure Hunt

Yeah we hung on by attaching a bungee cord to the back of Jim's

Jim and I had a little blast on the way home, back the way we came over Jon's "shortcut" - then got caught up in traffic so slowed as we got closer to Stockport.

Chelle, you still hold the record for worst navigator, but Sandra takes "accessory to worst navigation" for not pointing out the deliberate mistakes.

One such moment was when Jon turned in to a carpark, I muttered "we've gone past a turning, haven't we?" - Sandra's reply "maybe he's stopped for an ice-cream?"

Casper!

I like you. I like you so much, I'm going to come and visit you. Then drive in front of you slooowwwlly. Again.

You keep making offers....when are ya going to deliver ur reverse gear?? It may take a while, but I'll get a scoobaru eventually!

How much power does that little baby scoob of urs have? Its obviously a lot more than a FORD...not sure if I could afford a proper adult scoob, but I may be able to get one of those...

(and yeh, that was a serious question!)

Amanda, Naughty & Super Slider,

Had a cracking day out, particularly after we got some clear air!!
And showed the Cerbera!! (I'm sorry, I shouldn't but it was most satisfying to see a K-reg estate pass a TVR on merit)

Keep in touch guys, we'll have to do it again some time.

A big thanks also to the organisers.

P.S. Amanda, Dan wanted to say something sarcastic but he says he's not sad enough to post on an internet BBS like the rest of us!! On second thoughts if you are chucking twenties around he says you can ride with him any time but he might have to gag you first!!

Lol @ TURBO

Taking that TVR was a top moment, honestly I tried not to laugh as we went past

Come on Dan, I know you post on here really with your secret little name you use , John told me it was Sunday Driver

Andrew has already lined a gag up for me to use on you anyway ya cheeky monkey
Honestly Tim, how do you put up with him Anyway, tell him he's lucky, I was going to relate the whole car fixing story when I realised he never looked in here, but I think I'll save it for later, hehe

Thanks you lot anyway, it was the funniest meet I've ever been on, sorry for the odd wrong turn, but hey, can't be perfect

Dan is so going to have to register now, I think I am for it
Don't be too harsh else I'll set Michelle on you

Now I remember what I was going to put!!!

I have owned two Fords - zetec 1.25 Uncle Fester and a 1.7 Pooooooma.

I would certainly like to have another Puma as a runaround, but you can shove the fezzer back up Henry's rear end (the head gaskets just don't seem to last on them )

Casper, what colour the Skoda, as no-one overtook me all day either (white), TaviaRS was in the black one.

Or was it someone that was nothing to do with us?

Casper, you were actually the last one to overtake me!

The escort must have almost the same BHP as ur sport....jsut a pity about the AWD....decent brakes...etc

Casper had the silver baby scoob?

He was the one with short hair at lunch, long hair at the tiger...

Hey, the poor old escort may have been going slowly....but at least we were going slow enough to make sure we didnt miss any turns. Ok, apart from the ones we missed

How many other ppl (who werent going slowly behind us) followed the proper route?

And jeeeez that was an expensive day out....I must have used about 9 quids worth of fuel!

And that was after all the other money I've just spent on it....two new tyres....nearly 30 quid each! And the cam belt....almost 90

Can't wait to get a scoobaru...

Its a good road, but not sure what Chris has planned. Best caution it too if we use it
if it's where I think Amanda said, no we wont as it's not in Derbyshire

Can we try this road:

As Amanda and us Matlock boys know, this is what happens when you don't know the road...

...and this is what happens when you come back down. Note tow hook and rear diff marks. Won't be trying it again in a hurry
