don't know if anything special had been done to them but they were running on cut slicks.

Totally agree with all comments about the KH drivers on Sunday. Totally irresponsible and absolutely no consideration for other drivers. I do however know that T&C were also not happy with the way THEIR cars were being driven.
Being involved in the running of the event I know how much effort went into it purely for the enjoyment of all who turned up.
I know I can speak for all at T&C when I say I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and the day was not spoiled too much by unprofessional drivers who in my opinion were just out to thrash someone elses motors and try and impress everyone with their supposed skills.

Are your comments backed up by T&C as I would prefer them to challenge KH rather than myself or any other independant party?

Spoke to a source at T&C today who told me the driver they used was an ex BTCC racer who knew the track "like the back of their hand" and my sources comment was : " the other drivers were more than likely just pissed off at the fact that they thought they were good drivers but our driver showed them the way it should be done"

Totally agree with you Scoty! I have done loads of SIDC trackdays at KH and have always seen high quality etiquette and driver awareness.

It would have been a different story if it was any of us and on the day if I had got a hold of one of those drivers......well!

 

Wuz, do you have a telephone number for your source, as I'd be more than happy to have a word in their ear!
As said previously I wasn't even on track so I'm not likely to be upset that they could drive quicker than me (I have no problems with people being able to drive quicker than me anyway, as I have a mental age which makes it into two figures so can cope with not being the best at whatever I do), it was just their inability to cope with the simple rules that upset me.

Dougster, if you want me to write a letter to KN & T&C just say the word.

The other drivers were pissed off at the amount of rules being broken, that's all.

It has nothing to do with any previous titles the demo drivers may have held.
