Over any other Scooby, I think that I would take the M3 (eeeeew, can't believe I just said that), but like some have said, the 22B really is something special imo. You really do need to see one properly to try to understand why. Boy racer? Who the hell cares. The only people that really think that either drive around in Mondeo LX's and don't know any better, old foges that think that the 10 year old meastro they are driving everywhere at 15mph is the best car on the road, or the complete and utter snobs who have no idea of what a 22B costs, let alone what it is and can't understand why everyone can't afford a Aston Martin.

I say 2 finger salute to the lot of them. I love loads of cars, not just scoobies, but the 22B is very high up on my list of dream cars.

To all of those slating the 22b and praising the M3, I am happy for you, no no, really I am . I think M3, I think POC, I think 'Tart'. Nuff said

The M3 may be a techno marvel, but the 22B has a soul. 2 very different things

Cheers,

Nick

Don't know much about the 22b but from what I've heard it is quite a nice motor!!!But it is also very rare so looking for one let alone a well looked after one could be very very difficult stressfull and drawn out.I'm not sure whether I would choose the 22b over the M3 they are two completely different cars and do different things. Both awesome cars.
I will stick with my evo6 for now!!!

Unhappy

New M3 Convertible.
Just don't get a chance to really drive the scoob now I'm based in the UK.
What's the point of having a pocket rocket if I have to drive it like a bus all the time.

M3 for me please as it is very tail happy and controllable, has an awesome engine and Q car looks. It also requires more skill to drive one fast, once you turn off DSC.

This thread has to be some sort of joke? someone tell me it is?

After 2 long hard years of 22B ownership thanks to my good friend Richard Squire who owns the car, I have found out whats so good about them and whats not so good about them!

22B is awesome in everyway so thunbs up to that but there is no way would I compare it to a new M3! 2 totally different cars.

Anyway my 2p worth is M3 anyday of the week! and thats after 2 years of living with a 22B!

Harj...

Never driven either but...

Who cares what people think. New M3 is a classic. Probably the best one so far. And completely livable with. Just paint it black and take the badge off. Then its just down to how you wear it...

Now a new age 22B replacement may be a different matter..

Doesn't life get tough when you have wedge! Hard choice.

Best

Harj, why would you even consider an M3 when surely your 360 modena has arrived by now?

Question

Oh yes the Ferrari 360 must be nearly ready for delivery. You ordered it 11 months ago and said there was a 12 to 18 month waiting list...

So have they given you a delivery date yet?

Question

So Harj, you had the pleasure and pain of looking after a 22b for 2 years.
What were the highs and lows?
What has driven you to the conclusion that an M3 is a better bet?Is Richard Squires looking after his own car now?

Cheers,

Nick
