Question

I was wondering: as Harj is 11 months into his 12 to 18 month waiting for delivery for "his Ferrari"; is the final spec fixed at the point of order or should ones dreams/schemes come to fruition can you up the specification? Or God forbid you have had to leave you house and let the rally cars replicas go, take a rain check and post pone delivery indefinatly?

I will have an M3 soon along side my 22b so I will tell what one I think is best.

The best part of owning a 22b against any other car I have had excluding ferrari 355 is the looks. Anyone who says a 22b looks like other jap imports Subarus is blind. The car is also the most rewarding to drive including the 355 I had, I do not believe the M3 will be as rewarding.

Rich

Would still have the 355 back if I could.

Talking

How many people go out of their way on a car park to look at a 1998 BMW M3 and think yep thats a classic I wish I owned one.

Enough said

Cheers

When I'm old I'd like the M3 internals and running gear in the 5 door 3 series body. Comfy, quick, no-one gives you a second glance.

22b is a specialist car. Not worth the money for me, but bloody hell it is quick (thanks Chelle!!)

As an ex P1 owner I wish now that I would have bought a 22B, what I spent on the P1 I could have bought a 22B Type UK. But after using the P1 for 10 months and losing a shed load on it I decided to go back to an M3, I had M3's before going to a Scoob. I decided to buy an M3 because, my wife drives it all the time and she never drove the P1 and said she wouldn't drive a 22B, because of the noise and harshness of the P1, she was put off for life I think....

The choice between 22B or M3 depends on personal preferences and needs, both my kids want me to buy another Impreza, the only one I would buy would be a 22B or an STi 5 Type RA.(I think that is the two door one with the roof vent), but the wife wont part with the new M3, but having said all this the next car will probably be a 996 Carrera 4S....maybe I should sell the track M3 and buy an STi 5 Type RA, then I'd have a Scoob to play with the M3.

Just my 2p worth.

Andy

and saying you see lots of M3's is like saying you moved to LA and chopped of your ears cause every bugger out there is beautifull!

JJ,
LOL....

It's 'painfully' obvious that you've never driven a 22B mi old son.
