Rock and Roll
M3 is a natural progression for many. If I were in the market for a new car, the M3 would certainly be on my list.

Good choice Arron, hope you enjoy it. But sh1te black? I prefer either the azure blue or the phoenix yellow!

Only one person's opinion, of course, but here's what Car magazine had to say about the M3: "Especially in the wet, this is a car that won't talk to you. There's little feel, through the steering or seat, of where its limits lie, which freaks me out a little." The engine is great though.

Arron, this will be my last post on this so dont worry.

I dont want a slanging match.

I know you meant it as a joke, that's why I wrote, "some things shouldn't be joked about"

I just thought it below the belt, uneceesary, insensitive and ignorant.

More to the point it wasn't funny.

I don't want to bring this thread off topic, I was just asking if you could please be more considerate in future.

I stand by my "enjoy the car" comment.

I dont know if you have been an SIDC member for long enough, but if so, I would hope to see you execising the M3 on track with us in the future.

Adam....................OK.Now drop it.
Obviousley this is a sore subject for you and I will pry no further...as I say it was meant to be a joke.
Yes you will see the M3 on the track but prabably when the tyres are towards the end of their lives as theyre about £200 each or maybe even more

Talking

Looks just like my car - except I haven't got the toast racks embedded in the wings. Even the same colour...

...if any one is rude I will bring it to PE tomorrow to embarrass the Scoobs!!!

Yes but since when has CAR magazine been a rational medium? This is the magazine that rated the Rover 75 as the best Sports Saloon placed the ST24 ahead of the Scooby in 1997

Every other magazine has put the M3 as the pooch's danglies. EVO - surely THE best mad around placed the M3 as better than the EVO7

But obviously - believe what you want to believe, but please don't start wearing the blinkers that the RS boys seem to have for 'their' brand

Arron, I am sorry for being harsh, but there are some things that shouldn't be joked about, you dont know how some things affect other people, and throwaway comments like that can really hurt.

Enjoy the car.

Adam lets not get into a slanging match about the war and stuff ok.
Toutchy subject for most people.
I meant it as a JOKE and I also think the majority of people reading this post would see it that way to.
Try and stick to the topic and if your bored then choose another thread.
No-one is forcing you to keep replying

Arron

I know you are trying to wind up some Scoobynet members, but is it really necessary?

If you try and tell someone that their pride and joy is not as good as your own car, on a BBS dedicated to it, you are a bit .

No Scooby costs as much as your M3, so it's not even worth comparing them.

I haven't got a Scooby and I accept that the M3 is a great car, but please show respect for others on this BBS. The joke is wearing a bit thin.

Question

Homerdog
You lost me mate????????????
I`m not trying to wind anyone up.
This thread was asking for peoples views to a couple of pictures thats all??
It only turned into a slanging match because of some sad to55ers on here.
Read the post and make your own assumptions as to who is winding up who.
My wind ups are all directed at certain people who know me well enough and it is also interesting to see that most scooby owners over the age of 18 seem to like the M3
Some people take this BBS far too seriously and in my opinion spoil it for others with their "funny one minute and not the next" attitude. I also note that you are a newbie and dont even own a subaru???
are you old enough to drive??
are you out of nappies yet???
why are you on a BBS associated with Subaru`s when you aint got one. At least I have actually got one.
I rest my case and wanna make it to 100 replies

Hi Arron,

Have you got your new car yet?

This is a long shot, no, this is an extreemly long shot, but do you live around the Glasgow area.

A brand new M3 and myself had a good play a few weeks ago, same colour as your's with a private plate.

Lovely car, ehe, mines I am talking about!

Ork
He aint even got it yet, but even if he had, chances are, if you saw it being driven around the glasgow area it was (a)being driven by somebody other than the rightfull owner or (b) was being driven by a sweaty sock footballer with a mullet.
Only joking BTW before someone hands me out a Govan kiss on the next SIDC track day
