with all the money I have spent on Scoob I could have bought a 911 never mind a Boxster - and I don't regret a single pound of it
and what is all this bollox about STis being tail happy (it is posted here and a number of other threads) - I have driven 32,000 miles in an Sti V on road and track - and it simply is not tail happy - I have also spent a shed load of cash to get the rear adjustable, in a good way, under throttle - which my passengers in Bedford will attest to
Simply there are at least four basic types of STi - all of which have different handling characteristics and they are all different (WRX STi, WRX STI Type R, WRX STi Type RA, WRX STi Type 22b - and I am sure I have missed some!)
