Sorry I been away from my PC... The reasom why I BOUGHT my car from Japan, I can't find the model that I was looking for in the UK..?? So, I ventured to the place of origin... I have spent many hours, days and weeks, investigating into this option, which started back in Aug. 91'. Initially, I wasn't sure, but after speaking with a few importers and checking around, I felt comfortable about this.. The guys that I e-mail/phoned in Japan, have preformed many checks on my behalf.. so I feel very happy with their support and they have an expected standard to work from, if they feel that the car is suspect in any way they will cancel the order. Anyway, I am happy with my buy....
As for the spelling and grammar, are we really that concerned..?? The whole idea of these forum are to convey our thoughts and questions..
My close friend currently at Santa Pod racing his Yellow Ford POP, running a Big Block Chevy, kicking out around 1000 hp's.. I was hoping to see him race this weekend, but due to other commitments, I'm still stuck in Essex....!!
Anyway, I am looking forward when my car arrives in Nov. and having the sheer pleasure of getting it through the ESVA..!!

Hard to believe but I have never been to Santa pod! Alot of my mates have though, I always thought its very hard on the car....you can say goodbye to the clutch.
I agree with OJ I have also spent a long time looking into this and was very wary to start with but as stated the 'RARE' impreza's are readily available over there and hard to find here.
Nuff said.

You should go to Santa Pod and see the Custom car Street Eliminators, it's unbelievable that street legal cars pumping out 1000+ bhp's, and doing 0-60 under 2.5 secs.... the quarter mile under 10 second, best time was 7.8 secs, and top speed over 170 mph..
Anyway, back to your car.. keep us informed when you hear anymore..
Cheers,
OJ.......
