I've missed this one, been posting in the banzai thrash topic. doh
glad to see someone has taken a tenth of my time. It was actually 5.27 to 60 and 14.9 to 100. I missed a few of the second runs as i had to go. As i was leaving it looked like Craig got the perfect start, wheelspin but no bogging down. I can't beleive it was slower, he must of got too much wheelspin, the whole exhaust system was moving up & down like a ****** draws.
Glad to see Nito get under 5

Not sure what your problem is Pete - it's got some teeth left ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif)
Nice door stop now I guess huh?
With regards to my gearbox/clutch etc etc, we're trying to see what is and isn't possible. At the moment, the suffering item is the clutch - should last a few more, but not many I'd guess. We're trying to eradicate the weak areas, but obviously by removing one, it just moves it somewhere else.....
Will have to see if I can repeat those times on friday, or whether the half dozen or so times between 3.7 and 3.9 were just "flukes"![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif)
One thing we don't know is how accurate the equipment is - but the times seemed about right for everything else I guess......

LOL
Its a difucult thing to get real meaningful data from 0-60 runs as the times are masively affected by road conditions and driver technique.
I much prefer 10-100MPH readings as they give a less brutal technique and are a more realistic measurement. (plus they give my 2wd plastic pig a fighting chance
)
There is nothing a bit of filing wouldnt fix on that gear pete.
LOL

The really impressive bit was the way Craig was doing the time over and over again. Which means (a) its no fluke and (b) his start technique was a bit good too!
Some of the cars were clearly easier to get off the line than others - for instance Nito struggled 0-60 with a big turbo and lightened flywheel until he got the hand of sidestepping the clutch at 7k!
but it was quick from 30-100 when the power really kicked in.
My RA (short gearing, lsd front axle, diff control) was pretty easy to launch and flew off the line but felt slow from 60-100 where the overall power figure is more important.
Interesting watching the different techniques (some "sympathetic" and some really aggressive!) and power differences.
One thing thats clear tho is that pretty much ANY scoob is a feckin' quick car!
Got my figures thru from Joe this am, plus a superb digi pic of my car from Max - i'm off to gwet it printed and framed!
