What would scooby do...
DOn't take this the wrong way
I think you will find that scoobynet sits on a fecking quick connection somewhat greater than 2Mb. I am sitting on a 100mb feed tonight
working
supposedly
and I can see the server in 2 hops and less than 1ms
the problem ain't the connection IMO but a load issue on the server. Its got faster in the last half hour. It would be interesting to see the server loading over a day I bet peak times are between 8.45am and 10am and between 6pm and 10pm.
Maybe we need to do a little hardware sponsorship deal with scoobynet. Remember that simon runs this as a non profit service off his own kit. I know a couple of people here work for hardware manufacturers such as fujitsu siemens, compaq and a couple of others.
Anyhow we should not complain Scoobynet is an excellent service however slow it is!! especially given that it is free..
