Go for the european "non rip off britain " route.

Save yourself £ 4000 - 5000. And Have a holiday or three.

Lichfield Imports got me MY02 Earlier this year - no regrets

If so many people think Euro is the way to go, how come so many of us have been told by our dealers that they will not replace a juddering clutch under warranty as they'll not get approval from Belgium ?

Angry

because people say Oh OK then and don't do anything about it. You can't take no for an answer, shouldn't matter if it's UK or Belgium it's a pan european warranty.

If you want it sorted you've got to do something about it.

Edited to say, is it not a manufacturers warranty?? so WTF has it to do with Benelux.
And yes I know what the words say in the service book.

Too true Boultsy, too true.....

The garage that I buy my cars from is well helpful....one guys car had a fault, a UK Subaru dealer was adamant that it couldn't be fixed under warranty and that he had to pay, oh and the part was out of stock and on back order for up to 6 weeks.

A quick call to the supplying dealer in Europe saw the part sent over to the UK dealer, and the work billed to the EU dealer who then just claimed it back from the official dutch importer.

Problem solved and the UK dealer put in his place.

laters
