Not tired.
Will I see you Saturday?
Was intending to sell VF28 and ported cast headers together as they made 340+BHP at Well Lane on three occassions.
Do you have a cast exhaust turbine housing or even a damaged VF turbo with preferably a P20 housing?
Cheers.

I've no idea what power to expect from mine. Never had it on the rollers before. Any guesses beforehand for a MY94, full decat, filter and Dawes?

Around the 250bhp-ish?

Andy,

Can`t c a problem with that bud, the only thing is we`ll need 2 make sure it`s on summin u still have in the engine bay (couldn`t resist that 1 m8) & before u start NO there`s not much in my engine bay jnow, so get that hanbag away

Iain,

Would hazard a guess anywhere between 250 - 265ish.
Sounds a lot, but u wouldn`t believe the restrictions the cats & air filter place on the airflow. One of the recently run UK wagons
(Russels) clocked in at 257 with roughly the same done

Pete (w8 till u see wot i`m driving complete with nodding dogs )

you're not far off the mark Iain, I would say between 250 and 260.

I was slightly over 240 last time and that was before fitting the downpipe.

I'm also planning to run with a new air freshener installed, any idea how much extra I can expect with it fitted it would obviously be about 1/4 the way out of it's bag

Agree with that one Andy.

I know Jim says they're expensive, but at least keep it in the same place.

(The oven, so's i'd get 850bhp at the flywheel....)

Thumbs up

Agree with Andy that for consistent comparisons the temp probe has to be in the same place every time.
Look forward to meeting friends, old and new tomorrow.

You taking the Cavalier ? I'm taking the old Renault 19 If I recall correctly your Cav is a 1.6 ? WELL haha, my Reggie is a 1.7 so prepare to be blown away

ps measured it with the AP22 and it has a rampant 64bhp at the wheels

That's ok is it not, most non-subaru drivers would argue a standard Impreza has less at the wheels after you factor in the 4WD

Pete - Can we agree with Jim a fixed position for the air temperature compensation probe ? ie the same for each car, whether it be sitting on the window ledge or on top of the exhaust manifold This will prevent the handing out of 20 bhp 'freebies' to only select candidates
As long as it's the same for all cars then we can at least compare 'on the day' results.

Andy (twitch twitch)
