Giving up smoking. Any tips ??

I did it a few months ago with sheer will-power, and I've stayed off the smelly b@stards. I've actually shed a couple of pounds through drinking less (as this made me want to smoke)!

do what I did - just stop - you don't need them. The only thing that tells you you do is lack of nicotine, and that is gone after 5 days so it can't tell you anything. Important thing is not to try to replace nicotine with anything..... e.g. food
p.s. - Anyone got any idea how to shift about 2 stone? I seem to have developed some kind of glandular problem since I stopped smoking
