Arent there loads of 4EAT boxes about??? I think I may know of one, if its still around, as I removed it from a MY00 WRX.
And why bother with a subaru engine Andy ( if you are referring to a subaru of course ) when you have a 7.3ltr V8 engine lurking somewhere. I think Im know what one I'd rather use.

Steve
Plan A
was a CRX with the mid mount chevy but I just thought this 'intermediate plan' might keep me occupied and amused over the winter
Think I've worked out the gearshift for 2x manual boxes so I may shelf the auto idea.
Plus, a Scoob just HAS to beat those Cossies, EVO's and Skylines even if we need to cheat by using 2 engines

I'll fit a load cover in the rear and no one will ever know

Check this out. Its on www.tigerracing.co.uk.
This is a twin motorbike engined monster of a car.
"In November 2001, the Z100WR posted a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 0 to 100 mph time of 6.3 seconds using road legal tyres."

As I said, put the V8 into a Subaru then. You should be able to beat most things if you can get traction. Of course you would have to turbocharge it too, otherwise it would be pointless. All engines have to be turbocharged
