Just had a look at the registered list, and there are none written off! Does nobody want to admit they trashed a limited edition scooby, or could all 444 be still in one piece!?!?!
I think the list would look better with the car no. in 1st column & could maybe combine city+country into one "owner info" column, e.g. "name, city, country". Depends what your plans are for the
flash version - which looks great by the way!

April 20th it is then!
How about replying with Y or N against the weekend dates in April and we'll sort it from there;
Sundays:
6th-N
13th-Y
20th-Y
27th-N
might need a new thread? doesn't seem many RB5 threads about

Hmm we are trying to keep the threads down as there are others on here that dont share the same enthusiasm on RB5's (specifically the meeting) as we do.
Harmless banter really but its hard to just pass by without saying anything when there are so many (see RB5 Club Meeting thread).
As for the meeting date i thought we'd agreed it was the 20th April as most people can make it that weekend being bank holiday and all. There are obviously some who wont make it but facts say most wont be bothered!
As for me i'm well up for it and can't wait to have a chat with you all and see so many RB5's in one place. My brakes are being done 12th April ready for the meet
I'll have to start a new thread wont i! We need definate numbers now as time is ticking and we have what 5 of us so far...lol
I will ask the mods to clean my other thread up and use that one!

Ok, so the RB5 owners club
Unfortunately R.B.5 has had to take a back seat at the mo so the web site is on hold.
this does not mean i have been lazying around. I have been in touch with the guy who used to be in charge of the Special editions at Prodrive who actually left just before they finished the RB5 production.
Anyway, he is calling some of his people at Prodrive to let them know of me and i will be calling them next week to arrange some things for the near future of the RB5 club members which will include a day at prodrive and around their facilities, a day at at one of their test days and other stuff like Rally and track days.
I will also be talking to them about discount on parts.
He is also a good mate of Richard Burns and will be contacting him and if not getting him to call me then email me personally so i can have a chat with him and he does still have 001 by the way.
My stratergy for this club is to make it the best club, to make this happen I need to know wot all u other RB5 owners want from a club that will be better then any other. I need ur input
The intended membership price will be £40 for the year and entitle you to
A welcome pack consisting of:
an Owners Club boot sticker and window sticker; a tax disc holder
Membership card (which you need to be entitled to discounts from certain suppliers, dealers etc)
As mentioned above discounts on parts/tyres and dealers for servicing etc around the country.
Discounts on club events such as track days/dyno runs/day @ Prodrive
Your car displayed on the Members Gallery
Newsletters throughout the year notifying you of events happening, subaru news etc
Exclusive access to RB5 clothing and merchandise
I intend on contacting a Subaru dealer in Birmingham and arranging with them our very first club meet, where better then at a SUBARU home!!!!
All this will only happen if you lot r interested in in making a go of the club as much as i want to. We own an exclusive car and I want the club to reflect this and be the BEST!!!!

I'd be happy to pay the required amount or are the chairmen not needed to pay the fee to join
I'll get this web-site done in 2 weeks. Thats all info and links sorted as well as a little intro. Sorry i aint been here much, sorting personal stuff out.
Should be ok to give 100% now though. Can i help in anyway Mark??

regarding the club.
1st things 1st, we NEED to sort a venue for the RB5 meet, like i said, maybe a subaru dealer in birmingham will be happy to hold a day for us. Good publicity for them also, maybe u could sort that out as there's not many days left now.
we also need to sort out the clubs logo/brand so i can get car stickers/cards sorted

great effort Mark. No problem with the membership fee etc. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make the meet on the 20th as I will probably be in Hong Kong. If that changes I will be there.

Ok i'll sort the venue asap. Might be able to pull something off today. I'll have a look at the logo as well tonight on the Apple Mac ok bud!
Lets see if we can get this moving. The only thing thats been a let down is the other members who dont post on this thread and seem to ost elsewhere in Scoobynet. We NEED to get those members to attend the meet and make them all aware of the Club/meet etc. How can we do this? Mark have you got an E-mail list of some sort?
Bulk E-Mail requesting ALL owners to reply to the RB5 Club meeting post in Nation events section whether they are attending or not. At least we can guage the scale of the club and the amount of members interested at the outset. As you've said before no point in doing all this for like 10 members.
Definate numbers for the meeting needed now. See what you can do Mark. I'll contact some Subaru Dealers

i have been contacting owners and dealers who are selling the RB5's on auto trader and subaru.co.uk to find out the area/number and spec, there are about 20 for sale!!!!
i think the logo for the club will have the 'RB5' logo and just some how 'owners club' included
Asking all would be club members,
wot would u like to see from the club and wot would u expect from the club?
we need ur feedback and input to make this the best

Membership fee is fine with me also
sorry not been on track with this Scoob
as for what i'd like to see from the club;
1. Newsletters are always a good thing , if you get the material to fill them, so how about each member doing a 'profile of my RB5' etc.
2. meetings would be great , but logistics could prove a deterant to some, but hey we've got these great cars, we may aswell use them
A day out at a Rolling Road might be
3. Merchandise, especially discounted, how about some logo'd stationary like folders/binders(for mots/service bills/spares receipts etc.)
4. Discounted spares, especially those dearest to us (RB5s)
5. pc. stuff, wallpaper/spares sites/projects
there must be some more ideas out there
but this should help hopefully

any of you guys had to get new centre caps for your wheels
got 1 today coz it was a lot bloody cheaper than a set but the decal is different
don't actually mind it too much, but it's not original is it
Calling Mark, the decal wizard
original
new
the new one does make the centre cap look bigger, but not sure which way to go.
ideas........

On another note, has anyone used Chips Away on their RB5?
I found some nasty chips on the bonnet - looks like somethings bounced across it - don't remember that happening while I was driving it
Wondered if these folk have colour matched the paint successfully.
