Funkii Munkii

Ive had my MY98 UK for over 4 years now and I love it, everything about it, when I 1st became interested in Scoobs in 1997 I thought it was an ugly bugger, but CM was my motorsport hero, and my sister worked at a dealership so I got to take out a PPPMY98 with big 17" speedlines, it was better than anything i'd ever driven and that was that, I had to have one, I had the money so chopped in the old BM and got one I still enjoy driving it everyday and with a few mods improved its looks and output, the bug eye comes along and I thought it was a dog, 6 months later the Morettes start appearing and with a decent rear spoiler and the various pics in the Members Gallery and I wanted one badly, still do, Ive seen plenty of outstanding examples in the For Sale section, but pending adulthood/babies/house move have restricted me so im still in the 98 82,000 miles later and still loving it.
Now the MY03 is here and I really really want one of those but know I cant afford it right now.

At the end of the day, I know what ever style I drive it will be one of the best driving experiances the majority of us can afford and certainly dont subscribe to the "classic" "bugeye" thing, its a Scoob at the end of the day and when im behind the wheel all i can see is the bonnet and bits and pieces in the mirrors, the best part of the Scoob is whats under the skin, like I said when I first drove the 98 I thought it was ugly but I didnt care because after 2 x Xr3's a 320 a 325 MSport and a 325 MSport conv I realised that this ugly car before me **** on anything else i'd driven, the car was for me not for anyone else so it doesnt matter what it looks like, sometimes I dont feel comfortable with the looks,It is a posers car, I suppose I'll have to live with the SS zaust
