Clutch was sourced from Graham Goode. Its a 270mm Impreza unit. Had to have a new flywheel (£££££), mine was cracked and distorted. Didn't have it lightened as this would remove a lot of the low down tractability. New clutch judders occassionally, but it handles full bore take offs with ease.
Did you visit JAPS and the car show at Gaydon. There was a modded white Legacy at both events. My next mods are Whiteline AR bars front and rear, AVO suspension kit, strut braces front and rear.

DG Rallying,
Where abouts in Hampshire are you?
Which exhaust did you decide to fit?
I posted about Mongoose or HKS.
Legacy meet is a good idea, all suggestions welcome. How about a track day???

I have a 1991 legacy 2.2 GX 4WD , hoping to change to a legacy turbo next year . I agree about the impreza owners looking down on us but I surprised a few of them on track days - can't wait to get the turbo and be able to pass them . To quote an elise owner I took out as a passenger 'Christ , this thing can go round corners' . There are too many imprezas on the road now and a lot of them being nicked and that's why I like the Q-car status of the legacy . I have a mate who work in a dealers and has driven every subaru made and he says that on your normal bumpy Irish road he would take a Legacy turbo over an Impreza turbo every time as they handle the bumps better .

Hello another GT-B owner here. Needed an estate for the space and (IMHO)this is the best there is, the most fun is to be had from Boxter owners who think they're driving a fast car. With a touch of damp on the road even the Boxter S is blown away. (If that doesn't all sound too boy racerish) I have a silver 99 model in south London used to have a UK spec turbo estate in red. Sometimes see another GTB around the M3 with private plates. No one ever waves especially drivers of the smaller more common Subarus.

New B4 RSK arriving end of September - can't wait ![](http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif)
Thought about an Impreza, but couldnt live with my fillings rattling for 20-30,000 miles a year.
Now just have to wait for Optimax to arrive down in Portsmouth

Bigrex,
You got it thats my car. There seemed to be a big shortage of any Subarus that day, but it seemed like a million FTO's
If I remember, there was myself, my mate Sqiuzz with the DBM Impreza, an RB5, and someone from Listers rolled up at the same time as me in their UK300 demonstrator.
As regards to a meet or track day, sounds like a great idea to me, it just depends on what part of the country we're in.
