Removing sound deadening material from under bonnet
#32
Michelle the paint on the MY01 has been improved so it actually repels H20 now, you might what to consider a respray, it also contains PTFE so you aren't required to clean it so often.
I think the product code is 74559

Also the surplas material could be reused as 4 mudflaps for your car cut to fit perfectly. This would also reduce the noise from your tyres as they would be sound deadening..
Having a nitrogen spray nozzle properly placed in front of the tyres, for the cooling effect, will also decrese tyre wear in the warmer climates.

I notice the lack of mud guards is better for the road noise transmission, it also seems to aid cornering!
You don't get that really annoying grinding sound.

Simply re-route your blowers using a load of piping from b&q into your engine area, then slap your a/c on full.
Cheaper than liquid nitrogen and less explosive! [/quote]
Mr Cryptwald, I believe you are confusing liquid nitrogen with liquid hydrogen.
Nitrogen gas is inert and only explosive in an overly compressed stage.

Does this mean he would have to stand on it??????? To create the pressure????

Thank you M Hutton, seems my stats book is out of date then.

I think it would depend more on the compression rate you actually managed to achieve with the gas and of course the size and grade of the piping used.
Obviously if you used Hydrogen (the dangerous option) it would be more likely leak out of the rubber hosing I was planning on using.

Billbill - I think Michelle is referring to removing the sound deadening material from under her bonnet.
It was the thread before we seemed to get sidetracked.
I have Michelle, but as I said earily my paint is a different compound to yours.
[edit: correcting some terrible spelling mistakes]

Try Liquid Petrolium(please check your spark leads!)
Or Liquid Syrup of Figs to keep you running regular.

The fig syrup has many beneficial characteristics. The best of which is it's aromatic nature. Goes well with the convertible models.

Ohhhh...
Then it's a matter of semantics.
I was speaking from an American understanding of the word Bonnet.
Over here a bonnet is worn on the head.
I believe Michelle was referring to (what we call) the engine compartment cover or hood.

Billbill it is amazing the model versions you have over there. I am a little jealous really, were stuck with plain hard-top model.
