Doh, dont know where my brain is today. Wont be long before we have the Atom finished, all 450Kg and 640BHP/tonne of it. Fully road legal, 6 speed sequencial, downforce inducing wings, traction control, you name it..... Now this will stuff those cars.

Well I thought it was mostly great entertainment. There was even a Scoob in the opening shots. When the Zonda, Lambo and Tuscan S were shown you could actually hear the exhaust noise for once, programmes like Drivel and Pudding Power obliterate the exhaust noise with music!
Next weeks should be good with the Focus RS, since I believe JC is not a fan.

Not too bad...
Bit long given the content - compress the best of it into a half hour progamme it would be great (IMHO)
And I don't give a flying **** about 0-60's, top speeds or lap times.... I want one of those Lambo's...

On the whole I thought it was good, bear in mind its not aimed at serious petrol heads but Joe Public. Something for everyone, Cant wait to see JK go for a lap in that suziki car.
Thank god its back at last a decent car prog on the tele

Thought it okay although they were trying a bit too hard to be extra laddish in places.
The format's a bit contrived - the little cosy chats on the comfy chairs and the strange audience milling about. Just seemed a bit forced really. Didn't hold my attention that well although it's better than many of the other car progs that currently grace our screens.
It's just a pity that they didn't have any other "big" names doing the presenting. Tiff, Quentin and JC, lots of fast cars ripping round a track for an hour is what we want.
Good try though - I'll keep watching
PS. I assume all you Michael Schumakers above will be volunteering with your cars to take up the lap time challenge?
Ideal opportunity for us all to see how good you all are!

Definately, i think the format was going for fun more than anything. But to be honest, I think Clarkson is great at these sort of programs, so am more than happy to watch it for that. Hopefully, the news will be a bit more up to date though...

Not bad, the old TG was better, and it was a little stretched. But it did have supercars on and a lot of looning around, so we'll be watching it next week. Anyway, when Clarkson mentioned the challenge of one of the viewers cars doing the track, the 1st person I thought of was....."MELLOW" This is right up your street m8, christ, you've got a top track car and you're not such a bad driver either Seriously though, it'd be gr8, we could maybe have a scoobynet outing to cheer you on Go on, U know you want too

Much better than any of the other so called 'car' programmes.
Think they should replace the 'gimp' and draft in Jason Plato to test the cars, that guy's a nutter!!!!!!!!!

Well, I dunno what all the complaints are about. First Top Gear wasn't good enough because it was reviewing boring cars, and now that it's got supercars, races, and a bit of humour (grannies doing doughnuts, how to beat a speed camera) people STILL aren't happy. I hope things keep to this level each week I agree that Tiff needs to come back to make it complete though.
