Er, NO! Just because nobodys been interested in buying the car yet does not mean the car is priced to high (in fact - did you notice all the other comments along the lines of "good price for good car" etc?), it just means that nobody wanting my P1 has read the thread yet! They dont just appear like magic the instant you create a thread.

Why are you such a snide little creep anyway? Changing names all the time? I would much rather (as I suspect a lot of other people on this forum would as well) that you keep your negative opinions to yourself because, basically, I think you're either a) jealous as hell you dont have a P1 to sell, b) still having trouble with "readin' and stuff...", or c) learnt to touch type on a Outer Mongolian keyboard but not realised ours are different and you're really trying to type you'd like to buy the car!

Personally, I'd go with a) and b).

Go away.

Listen, this is a forum for peoples views, if you don't like what I have to say, tough, fact is you won't sell your car for that price as the market has gone. As for your second point, it's easy to be abusive behind a keyboard, why not get in touch and we'll see if you talk so tough then. As for bieng jealous, had a P1 breifly before getting rid for a 330ci sport, so no, not jealous at all. You should be gratefull for my posts, at least your thread stays near the top. But in the end I am laughing at you, because you are the one who is going to either drop your price to sell, therefore proving me right, or, stay on here for years telling everyone how yours is the best P1 anywhere while other people are selling theirs, and trying to score points by telling people how bad their ketboard skills are, get a life.

Er no, Loddrik, this isn't a forum for airing people's views, it's a forum for buying and selling Subaru cars and parts. If you want to air your views go and stick it in "Scoobynet General" - at least there we can be sure it will disappear off the front page in a couple of hours when no-one displays any interest

I'm still not sure what makes you the expert in all matters of P1 buying and selling though. Every "P1 for sale" thread that appears seems to generate some snide, peurile little comment from you. Well done, you bought a cheap P1. If you are on such a mission to warn people of the evils of expensive cars perhaps you should take out an ads in AutoTrader saying the same thing.

JB is asking a decent price for his car. The fact that it hasn't sold through this board is immaterial. Most of us already have Imprezas so there is only a limited readership on here looking to buy a whole "new" car. There will only be a very few people on here (out of the whole 19,000) that will be after a P1. Hence these always move very slowly through here.

Your views on this matter are unwelcome. If you are laughing at jb then fine; if posts like yours make you feel clever then there's little we can do.
Like I said, go and post something in General if you feel that people are being ripped off; sitting in front of your PC waiting for the next "P1 For Sale" thread to appear is just, frankly, sad.

Go and troll somewhere else...

Steve Fort, you took the words (well text), right out of my mouth!

Jonny, you absolutely DO NOT want to lose heart when selling this car mate. £22,500 is good money for what sounds like a GR8 car and is unfortuneately one of those 'if someone wants one' vehicles which may need a little time for you to ascertain the RIGHT prespective owner!

Good Luck

PS don't get disgruntled by time wasters, my mates STI V5 is lovely and he's having the same 'when will somebody just buy this car' time at the moment too

PPS put it in Top Marques, that is a far better place to sell your car than on here!

Bobby Peru "why not get in touch and we'll see if you talk so tough then."

Hmmmm... sounds rather threatening to me. Do you always do that to people you don't know when they counter your "comments" with reasonable arguement? You can laugh at me all you want, I really don't give a stuff whether you have an opinion or not because the tone of your reply mearly confirmed my opinion of your character.

Go and play with your soldiers.

Arrow

Which part of Midlands?
Does it have service history?
Any chance of a photo?

Very tempted. Who do you use to insure it? I'd like to get an insurance quote before I waste both our times viewing the car.

Thanks

Another bump and a note to say I have ridden in this car and certainly from what I have seen, it seems as clean and certainly goes as well as any I have encountered.
Is this car still under warranty by the way, because if so, there is no benefit in buying from a dealer and paying more. I reckon it's up for a decent price.
Last note, I promise. I don't really care who I upset here but had noticed that jokers comments on several threads now and he even aggrevates me. I'm not even selling anything. I do hope the majority out there can try and eliminate this nutter from your minds when reading various threads. Loddrik, or whatever, please keep your comments to yourself if you think some people may take offence. What is the point in purposfully pi***ng people off. If you want to buy the car, or any other then make an offer. I thought this was a friendly site for enthusiasts. Not an opportunity for a slanging match, which yo uare obviously trying to turn it into.
No comments on typing though, to be fair, everything you have posted seems at least well written, so I assume you have a modicum of commen sense. Try using this quality more often.
Nuff said.
Sorry in advance for rabbiting on like that and for any offense caused.
Surely all will be forgiven over time.
p.s. this has not been proof read, so no comments please on bad grammar etc...........

Turbonutter - hi. I live on the A1 corridor, nearest large town is Peterborough. The Subaru dealer there has maintained the car, full service history. You've still got 18 months of Subaru warrenty left. If you give me an email address I can send you a picture (or check out Evo mag July 2002 pages 9,66-67, and 82 if you have a copy, they borrowed her for a feature.

Insurance is with Tesco, I found them very reasonable and saved a lot compared to my previous insurers, obviously being a group 20 car its not cheap, you get what you pay for!

This is bizarre...I've taken some test drives over the last week or so, and, to be perfectly frank - I've decided to keep the scooby. Maybe you need to drive other cars now and then just to realise how good they really are?

Anyway. Signing off on this one. Thank the lord I delayed sending the cheque to Top Marques!
