To anyone who knows Moles Dad...

OMG
Only met him once at Brands and he always ribbed me about my wheels on the day. Was the 1st person to offer any help when I was having problems that day.
Had numerous mail exchanges since. Can't believe it.
Am so very sorry
Sincere condolences.

Mole, my deepest sympathy to you and the family.
Like many others i have not met your dad but always looked out for his posts knowing they would be both entertaining and informative.
Again, my deepest sympathy, he will be missed by many.

Dear Rich, Chris & Vicky,
This is the most terrible and tragic news i've heard for a while, I am so truely sorry, in fact I am gutted
Andy was one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met, his loss is a real tragedy, i've only known him for less than a year but would say he was a true friend, being able to talk to him about cars & stuff on a regular basis is something I will miss big time.
Rich, If you grow up to be 10% of the man your dad was you will truely be just fine.
Again am so sorry to hear this news
If you need anything and I mean anything you have my number.
All our love Toby & Georgina

Mole's mum here - thanks to everybody for your kind words, I am so chuffed to hear what a great bloke you all thought he was. I was married to MD for 20 years, not only was he my hubbie but my bestest bestest friend. I'll miss him so very very much. Thank you all.

Blimey - was just reading the Silver Mirrors Thread and clicked on a very sad link.
MD was the first person to respond to my inaugural post as a Scooby Newbie, not so long back now. Have read many subsequent MD missives and always found his posts funny and informative...
He'll be missed by all on this BBS.
Regards to you and your family...

I only heard about the tragic news this evening when toby called to tell me, really don't know what to say, or how best to say it tbh, deeply shocked and very upset.
I'd only really known Andy for a few months or so when he purchased some of the parts i was selling, he and mole spent the best part of a day round my house awaiting the arrival of the sleeping meech and I was fortunate to meet him on a couple of occassions since.
Was a very easy going, affable and fun guy to spend time with, one of the few people i felt i could call a friend from this forum and his wit and enthusiasm will be sorely missed.
If there is anything I can do to help please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Its just taken me about 45 minutes to type this as i really am lost for words...
