To anyone who knows Moles Dad...

Mole
I relished crossing keyboards with your dad - we had a few friendly war of words, as is my way.
He gave as good as he got and it was always done with genuine feeling and a respect that was admirable ... I cannot say any more than that.
I am truly sorry

Mole,
So sorry to hear this sad news. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I never met him but I judged from his posts that your Dad loved his car, loved motoring, and had a great sense of humour.
Sincere condolences at this difficult time.

Very Sorry to hear your sad news Mole
Never had the chance to meet your dad but have read his many posts
with a laugh and a smile that brightened a boring day at work, we
lost dad some three years ago to a similar thing (Heart attack
very sudden no pain or suffering thankfully)
Keep well and look after your family

like so many people I didn't know your dad, but I liked his sense of humour that was evident in many of his posts. He will be sorely missed.
My thoughts are with you and your family.

The Subaru community has indeed lost one of its most precious figure heads.
I cant say that Andy was one of my oldest friends, but he was certainly someone I always felt was one of my best, despite the short time that I knew him. He always had a laugh and smile ready with some good humour and I will miss our conversations and tales of other times.
Mole, please accept my condolences and pass them on to your mum and sis. As a local friend, please also let me know if there is anything I can help with.

Huge thanks to everyone who has replied, cheered me up!
Special thanks to anyone I have met and knew from here, Toby, Johnny, Andy Hol, Andy O, and the many others I cannot think of at the moment.
Also thanks to Dom & Deano, my good friends.
It's lovely to know that so many other people enjoyed his sense of humour and wit as much as I did.
I have been working with him for the past 2 months and everyday we had a blinding drive to work, followed by a day of laughs and jokes, chatting about his scooby, my car, any "happenings" on Scoobynet etc, and then we had another blinding drive home.
He wasn't just my dad, he was the best friend I have ever had. We had the same interests, same sense of humour and enjoyed the same music (beleive it or not!!). We went everywhere together, as you may have seen at any meets or rolling road days we went to.
Anyway, I'm going on! Please keep your kind comments coming. Im sure he would have loved to see this thread and known how many people respected him. He loved getting "flames" as he called them -
I will continue to print this thread out as new posts come in.
Richard.

Mole - just caught up after being away... Im shocked and saddened by your news and your father will be sadly missed. If you and your family can take any solace at this hard time, then believe that the hurt will decrease and you will start to remember the great times you all shared and seek comfort from it. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Like so many on here I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad m8, but enjoyed the great posts and weekend exploits.
I am really sorry for your loss and send you and your family my condolences.
Reading this thread has made it only to apparent just how important my own father is and not to take his being here for granted.

Less than 24 hours and we're on Page 7!! Says it all really. I've seen and enjoyed so many of his posts; and now regret that I've never made it to a Kent event to meet him personally.
Dreadfully sorry at the bad news.

I thought it was great that your dad posted as Moles Dad, he was obviously very proud of you.
