Sorry to hear this. I didn't know him but like many others I read a lot of his posts and enjoyed his sense of humor.
Very sad news, my thoughts are with you.

There is little I can say that hasn't been said already.
You, your family and your close friends have the deepest sympathy of us all.
I never had the privilege of meeting your dad but I'll miss his contributions here.
Stay strong.

Only heard today at AWD(Perth) SIDC open day.
Have followed with interest your posts and could not believe the news.
Thinking about you and your family and will listen to 'Windmills' and think of your dad!

Mole: Really sorry to see this. I only knew Andy through his posts on here and never met him face to face but as a result of his postst we exchanged a few e-mails and I considered him a kindred spirit and ally.
Best wishes to you and your family at this sad time.

Mole,
Although I was at the rolling road day at Power Engineering recently, I didn't get to meet your dad. I missed the chance to meet one of the nicest and most respected members of Scoobynet.
My condolences on your loss and my best wishes to you and your mother.

I am new to this forum, only been on here about a month, I'd read quite a few of your dad posts and dribbled over his lush scooby. I think it shows how popular your dad was by the facts there's 9 pages of comments.
Deepest sympathy for you mate and your family.
Thanks
Dan

As with many others I never met your dad but always enjoyed reading his posts.
Scoobynet has lost one of its best contributors but more than that you have lost a Dad & a Friend.
Remember the good times, remember the laughs you shared & be proud of the fact that your Dad was so highly respected, keep the memory alive !

Mole,
My sincere condolences to you and your family.
I lost my dad 22 years ago in the same circumstances as you & 22 years on I still miss him.
So I can wholly sympathise with how you and your family are feeling right now.
However, time is a great healer & you will remember all the good times as I still do 22 years on.
Take care,
Rob

To Mole & Family,
I didn't know whether I should post here, but Dom & Dean have so I thought I would do too.
I am so sorry and shocked to hear the news, I don't know what more to say that hasn't been said already in the phenomenal amount of posts left here, except that your Dad was clearly an exceptional man indeed and you all have my deepest condolences.
I hope you already know this - but if there is anything at all that I can do to help any of you out at this difficult time, I am only up the road.
Nick.
PS: I still have my Brands Hatch wrist band to this day!

In the short time I knew Andy, I came to think of him as a friend and one of the true characters of the board and the Kent meets. I could relate to his sense of humour, even if I couldn't compete with his enthusiasm, or match his colour coding and his suggestions for "carbon bits". I'll always remember him the way I saw him last Friday after the meet, as he flashed past with the exhaust flaming.
As another of the locals, if there's something I can do, please let me know. I'm sure I speak for all of the F1 crowd when I say you'll always be welcome at the meets if any of you ever want to come along again.
He will be missed. Shocked and saddened,
Phil
