NOS,

The ASA thing isn't as concrete as it appears....

Neil,

No disrespect to Bob, but he's not a TOP tuning guy - he's a very good mapper - theres a difference........

Sorry Craig, Lumped mapping in the same catagory as tuning. Which to my non technical brain is the same thing.

As for Bob's 'ranking' in mapping terms that's for him and others to say(and probably for a brand new thread)

if the ASA decided to put a block on them making the claims there must have been a very good reason for it.

Christ! You lot are pretty agressive to a valid 'snake oil' comment - and all because the guy drives a Nova? Bloody snobs! My first car was an Escort Mk1 - sneer if u like! We all move on...

The ASA made a comment and a ruling due to a change in the Law - not exactly a fair comment........

ASA aren't the be all and end all.

Seems certain people have a bee in their bonnet over this product - suppliers at that.

I it was turned around I wonder what they'd be doing?

Exclamation

there is a healthy debate going on in drivetrain about broquet.

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/bbs/threa...hreadid=142252

as to the general comment. It's a shop, if you like the products, buy them, if you dont, dont. It's hardly rocket science.

Trade Descriptions act could be used for a lot of things.

Companys that offer "The Best" Octane booster
35hp increase with an exhaust

etc etc

Why have you got such a bee in your bonnet? ave you analysed everything you've done to YOUR car to prove it's 100% correct?

Good point about some stuff being rubbish but you've got to remember that choice differs.
Think of Trigger in Fools & Horses.
When Del selling something in the pub all the others talk about how cr4p it it.
Then Trigger says " I'll have one. "
These people exist.

Thumbs down

Chill people, mr Nova is not coming on here winding people up and slagging everyone off, like most. You make us all look like snobbish *****. If he's on a wind up, fair enough, give some abuse. Comments seem quite sensible to me.

And I have respect for anything with nitrous!

I don't think this is scammynet. If you are going about the hks earth kit, it is not the shops that set the price, but the people who make it - go blame the people who make it! Just check out www.hkseurope.com - anyway, the kit was recommended to me, if it makes an improvement, I have no problem in paying the price for it.

I have found, that if you are buying stuff the a scooby, the majority of the time, the part you are buying is always going to be a grand - anyone else agree?

webmaster- that is the point i am trying to make!

it is OK to advertise products on the scooby shop but is not OK to question them in case it is a libelous comment!!!

i respect scoobynet and think there is some good stuff on here.

i understand the point you are making though.
