have resurected my Apple mac 5300, which has a TV card in it and am watching BBC news.
bloody hell!
seems that 3 planes have been hijacked, two flown into WTC, one into pentagon.
reports say that on middle east tv some middle east nutters are claiming responsibility, if so then I think that George Bush is going to be not to happy with the middle east types. God knows what he'll do in retaliation.
this is worrying
buddies in the states were meant to be flying to florida today, but can't all usa airports are shut, no news on when they'll reopen.

We've just watched the news in the office, from the start of the incident, I was on the phone to the US at the time (our offices in Dallas)...
This is unbelievable.. one of the towers has colapsed now..

Im watching CNN and the Pentagon looks like its being ripped apart by the fire.
Just shown pictures of New Yorks streets.
Casualties are in 0000s now according to a New York cop..

I cannot believe it. I am watching it on TV and I feel sick. This will start world war III. America will not stand for this and there will be no let-up in catching the people responsible for this.

Surely they'll have order the USAF to locate and destroy the other hijacked planes.

There is another plane on its way to Washington. Who knows what is going to happen.

It has completely gone - nothing left of the 110 floors on both buildings!
On the TV it is showing the second tower collapse. You can see the antennae on top of the building as it comes down vertically.
