417bhp from a scooby!?!?!?!

Adam,
On the same day as Steve's 315 at PE, Ian G got 317 with his decatted P1... A week later at John Nobles he had 292 (a loss of 25hp but a more believable figure don't you think?)... good job Steve didn't go
But... if he had run at Nobles...and all things being equal (which we know they are not) it wouldn't be unreasonable to say... 290bhp? a difference of 70bhp at the fly
I would suggest using the 317 ATW as more of a benchmark... thats double a uk scooby, which is nice

Pavlo,
Most rolling roads are not that accurate, but the first time i ran my MY00 PPP'd scoob (Prodrive rated at 250bhp) she ran 249bhp which i found to be quite accurate (but you also have to take into consideration of the conditions of the day) and then i ran 224bhp at the Banzai rr day (clogged wastegate ) and now with a d/p fitted i ran 263bhp (which is around what i expected).
Its not a real test though, its an estimate but that estimate isnt probably as accurate as a run on a normal road (more airflow etc) but Harveys car was quite a bit over 400bhp (417bhp) and running 23psi (capable of more BTW ) plus it was a very conservative map and the car is still in R&D so more should be available
Harveys cars a monster we should now wait to see what can be produced from it
Tony
