NEW BEDFORD TRACK DAY!!!!
#31
All mouth, no trousers. I'll bet £10 that Aaron can't get enough people, with money paid up front, to actually allow this event to go ahead.
What I don't understand is exactly what the problem is. SIDC organises several trackdays a year. One is under-subscribed, and so has to be cancelled. Others go ahead.
Why the bee in the bonnet, Aaron?

Aaron
I read the first post and thought great someone to prove the SIDC shouldn't have pulled the day.
But what have a read is a sad tirade of same old "I could do it better" and "I told you so statements"
WELL PUT UP OR SHUT UP
My money is waiting If you advise who is insuraning the event
I must admit that the post about Bedford is filling up Nicely was a red herring, but if you use reverse physcoligy[spelling] that should have encouraged those that wanted to go but hadn't paid
I have no personal grudges against anybody but for gods sake can't we grow up

I'm for it Arron, 2 others as well.
re driver /track etiquet (sp?) I was at a palmer sport day 8 weeks ago, all sorts of cars running, fast & slow and it was one of the best days I have been to for driving standards etc. A lot better than some scooby only days I might add imho.
cheers simon

Er Lee.
It was promoted on ALL BBS's? Which ones? Have you got links? When was this done? Yesterday?
Don't remember seeing anything on RSOC.???
I'm gonna start some new topics and see how much general interest there is.....

Personally, I think it's a shame they've cancelled Bedford, as I think many people would have paid up nearer the date, like the karting. In that instance, there were still 36 places available with seven days to go.
Having said that, it's difficult for the SIDC to take the risk. They're in a bit of a 'no win' situation
IMHO, I don't believe you would ever see really bad driving at Bedford, as they're pretty quick to black flag people, and I've seen a couple of drivers chucked out of past events for poor etiquette, and the one I attended there last weekend, which had everything from 360s to a Puma, was excellent.

You're right Josh.
The crunch day came and we are £4,000 short. So what do we do ? Go for it with fingers crossed and risk losing money ? Or go for safety and refund/cancel. Damned if you do and damned if you don't :-)

Yes, seventeen of my mates have said they'll come. I'm guessing the price is £195 so I'll post off a cheque for £3510 to you as soon as I get a chance.
Book me eighteen places for defo though.
