I was running 1.05bar when i run last, when i went to a recent rolling road day i got 317bhp/290lbft @1.15bar.. i judged this as roughly 300bhp when i run at the pod....
When i run at the pod i removed my rear seats/space saver and i have removed my aircon, not sure of the weight to be honest??? maybe you know??

I wasnt in the car when Dean run (STI7 PPP) so he may have managed lower, however he said that everything went well (gear changes/revs correct etc) listening to his launch though it didnt seem hard enough... should of let me launch it!!!
Will get 11's if it kills the car
Well.. not until i have changed my gearbox!! whines like a pig

300 hp won't make 12,6 (naturally torque is *very* important - but I assume we aren't talking about WRC cars now )...it just doesn't add up I'm afraid.
The car in question would have to have gone on a serious diet...
The owners stating mid 12 runs on 300 hp are being quite "modest"...IMHO of course.

I got a 13.8 @ 101 mph in a 296 bhp STi.
I wanted to get into the twelves but had massive clutch slip on both starts
Even an E36 M3 got a better 60ft time than me but i still beat him
60 ft 2.112 seconds
I was launching at about 5000 rpm to stop it bogging down!!!

Your terminal speed is the important bit, not the time. If you know your terminal speed, loaded car wieght and gearing you can get a fairly accurate figure for flywheel HP.
Basically... the faster the terminal speed the more power you have, if you have a quick time but a slow terminal speed it means you've good traction of the line.
