Question

Do people using Blitz back boxes have any probs with them catching speedhumps etc (especially when lowered)? Im thinking of changing my ss bb to a more crazy jap style one.

WRXB, dont think it will sound very good if I record it with my camcorder, there must be a scoob near you with one fitted.

Anyways they are fine with the bung fitted, I'm gonna get another bung made up thats a little louder than the standard one.

Thumbs up

On my MY99 it's not that loud - if you have the windows closed it's fine. I've got a standard downpipe though which will be quieter than most de-cats. I've had a few comments from neighbours but nothing too bad! Turns plenty of heads though

I chose it over an HKS Hiper 'cos it's 100% stainless steel (Hiper isn't), looks better and is meant to be louder. The Hiper supposedly has better airflow but I shouldn't you'd notice the difference in the "real world".

In short - go for it!

Hi there, just to say I have a Nur spec full system with the Hayward+scott d/p fitted to my 97 uk turbo and I must say it's the dogs danglies. The noise is awesome especially going into a tunnel or under a bridge and it manages to set off my neighbour's car alarm at least once a week.
